I still remember occasional footage of Mr. Hooper filtering in around the mid 80s, Am I mistaken in this and was indeed all references to a live Hooper immediately yanked after he died, or am I right, and if so, how long did his late appearances trickle on?
All I can remember of this episode plot was our fine feathered friend meeting "Sarah," whose arm was in a cast. Is this familiar with anyone, and if so what year was it broadcast.
This was an old favorite of mine, with the pink J with locomotive headlights chugging around the black and white railroad yard ("j-j-j-j-j-j-j-j"), and telling us how to spell join (hooking up with the O-I-N), jump (leaping over the U-M-P), and jet (blasting off with the E-T...head-on into...
I remember another exit sequence, with an orange ball bouncing around a blue, dusky house, saying "Exit" every time he saw an exit sign, until he finally reached it and left the building. Familiar?
Well, he probably wouldn't have gone about it like that; it's well documented that Jim rarely raised his voice on problems and sought to overcome errors constructively. :)
Has anyone here ever attempted to definitely map out the Rock as we know it? If so, could you enlighten me as to the general locations of Gobo & Wembley's/Red & Mokey's living caverns in relation to the Great Hall, where we've soon Boober lives solitarily (probably for the best of his fragile...
What would scare me was the episode where they all got gassed with the boredom juice (no wonder Boober left early; he probably could guess something terrible was about to happen and was warranted for once). While any instance of them under hynosis was disturbing to a 4 year old, this was the...
Of course, it's remotely possible Rizzo knows Splinter, and throug this arrangement Hamato Yoshi's old pet taught Piggy a thing or two about marshal arts when he wasn't busy with his "sons"...
One thing I've wondered for years is where they even get the fabrics to make clothes. There wouldn't seem to be anywhere (aside from cloth-growing plants in some cavern we've never heard of) in the Rock where one would think they'd find such materials.
I remember two others he showed him were banana peels on an umbrella, and what Oscar called, "Whistler's Mud," which like the toaster was rejected in large part because the whistle worked.
These were those that started with the announcer asking, "What if a...had...and what if a...had...? Now what do you suppose would happen?" I can remember specifically:
-anteater becomes ant-eating giraffe
-elephant and mouse swapping (tiny elephant has thunderous footsteps, giant mouse...
I recall only seeing the version of this that dealt with 8. It went like this:
We see the numbers 1-12 in various colors on a white background. "Eight," announces a woman's voice from off screen. An animated mover's truck drives across the screen without stopping, then reappears and halts...
What was the name of the curator of the museum of bad art who came to see Oscar's terrible efforts at sculpting, only to decidet he grouch himself was the most memorable piece of trash there?
