Er, um, well, while I do agree there's too much Ashanti (really, it's called The MUPPETS Wizard of Oz), I did enjoy the movie. "The Witch is in the House" and the flying monkey scenes made me want to work for the Muppets again.
I just bought Beauregard's Supply Cloet out from under you. I've got Biff and Sully's Construction Co. from the Sesame Street edition, now all I need is either the Newsman's Desk or the Martian's Home on Mars, and I'll have all the light blue ones!

I don't know about that. Jim was still trying to get a Muppet prime-time show on the air when SNL came out.
There is that theory that the Muppets were on the show primarily to distance themselves from Sesame Street, and show they could work for adults as well as kids. Thus, The Muppet Show...
