Could I get an e-mail with these songs in it:
What’s In Your Heart? (MLtS)
I Wish I Could Be Santa Clause (MLtS)
Saying Goodbye (MTM)
You Can’t Take No For An Answer (MTM)
Right Where I Belong (MTM)
Just One Person (Bernadette Peters)
Because We Need A Little Christmas (MFC)
Jingle...
I like to think of TMTM as a more realistic origin story for the Muppets, since the idea of a bunch of the Muppet crew being in college and trying to make it on broadway...leading up to present time when they perform in a rented out theater, made more sense to me than them randomly making it to...
I don't think there is a true Muppet canon, sure there are nods between the shows and films...but they never seem to quite match up.
Muppet Family Christmas implies that some of the Muppet crew got to meet each other at some point when they were babies (judging from the home movies...even...
I love watching these sort of videos, and was wondering how many have been repeased on dvd for the Muppets and Sesame Street.
I spotted "Biography Sesame Street" on amazon.com.
Are there any others? Any about Jim Henson?
Well, here's hoping that the DVD for this special (assuming it comes out next year) will be an extended edition like MWoO did.
If it was longer, had more meat to it, then I do think I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't love it as much as the others...
I just got the dvd in the mail yesterday and watched the movie for first time since the night it first aired, and liked it more this time around.
It didn't feel rushed (except the CGI sequences, those were horrible and ugly), the jokes were funny (I never thought they felt forced to begin...
The movie had an interesting way of doing that actually....when Cruise first speaks in the movie, he says his first few lines in German. After another couple of lines it melds into English with his normal accent. Like we're watching it translated.
I love Ever After, but I do agree with what...
Mine would be:
LOST
Avatar the Last Airbender
Wolf's Rain
Boy Meets World
Beauty and the Beast (Linda Hamilton)
Earth 2
Spaced
Miracles
Are You Afraid of the Dark (original run)
Xena: Warrior Princess (seasons 3, 4, and 5 were the best)
Batman the Animated Series/The Adventures of Batman and...
I love the Autum and Winter, because of the things I reserve to eat and drink at that time...
Hot Coco and Hot Cider are fantastic! I also fell in love with Bailey's this year, I got to try it for the first time and it tastes wonderful.
I love Pumpkin Bread at this time of year, as well as...
I can very faintly recall being about 5 yrs old and wanting to run away because I was mad at my mom for some reason (I had probably been told I couldn't have dessert or something for being naughty).
I had a Garfield suitcase that I put some stuff in, and then went into the kitchen to...
Yeah, I noticed that too. She had no problem with Pepe, but was really weird about all the other Muppets.
It was cute to see someone Pepe had the hots for kind of return the feelings (Bitterman was only using him, so she doesn't really count.)
I hadn't considered the idea that she may have been adopted...if that's the case then I forgive the character. I guess I could understand the inability to fit in with kids her own age too.
I kinda had a very small Muppet in-between dream last night. I dreamed that I was trying to fix my Kermit's neck (it looks a tad squished) and then his seams were undoing!
Yeah, I'm like that too. I shouldn't have said it was a case of open-mindedness because that wasn't really fair of me to say. You're right, it's just a difference of opinion and viewpoints.
Forgive me?
Nah, I thought it was kiddy because all the human guest stars acted far more childish than the actual child in the movie did.
The driving point of the movie was a little girl who didn't appreciate her mother and wanted her neighbors to drop their holiday plans (some of whom could have been...
The 80s are kinda hit/miss with me. I loved the big hair women would wear (Except on Miss Piggy in MTM...I didn't like that look on her at all in that, which is odd because I liked it in MFC), but some of the clothes look horrible.
I love everything from the 70s and backward!
