When it comes to Ren and Stimpy, I find it unacceptable that John K., the CREATOR, got fired. I feel that the creator of a series should be entitled to NOT get fired, unless maybe he went to jail or something like that. The creator can quit, the network can cancel the show altogether, but the...
I think that's the episode where Angelica learns about the tooth fairy and wants to get one of Chuckie's teeth out of his mouth so that she'll get the money.
That's "Driving Miss Angelica", where Chuckie has to be Angelica's slave after saving his life. Tommy did appear in that episode, though I've read that the original script had him absent.
And that episode seems to be a little different from other TV episodes where somebody saves someones...
I thought I read that it was from a traffic film that appeared on the show (one that actually appeared in episode 131 without being removed from the DVD).
I liked the solo Tommy episodes, but did find it weird they did ones where he could barely talk. But how did you feel about the three episodes that didn't have Tommy in them at all ("Cuffed", "Pickles Vs. Pickles" and "The Unfair Pair")? I liked all of those.
And I thought it was usually Phil...
Because as Mark Evanier once said on his blog, Warner Bros. doesn't want to have to pay too much for the same voice actor (since Mel Blanc kept asking for bigger raises throughout the last decade of his life), and also because no two WB executives can agree on who can best match Mel Blanc's...
The only thing I would expect to be cut would be a rendition of "Happy Birthday" from the Puerto Rico trip, but somebody a few posts back said it shouldn't be a problem because it's not sung in english.
And there have been scenes cut that have been a mystery as to why. I can't figure out why...
Not sure if this is the best place to say this, but I find it ridiculous how on facebook EVERY post on the Sesame Street page has comments about this incident (as well as the removal of Elmo's World), even in posts that have nothing to do with the issue (though the Sesame Street page doesn't...
Yeah, can't believe I made the same basic mistake twice in one post (referring to episodes 1079 and 1082 with "19" as the first two digits).
I've been thinking about that group shot of characters introduced in season 12 (Elmo, Telly, Dr. Nobel Price, Countess and her dog, Honkers, Warren Wolf...
Was it really because of Genius that we didn't get the set? I don't know whether Sesame Workshop gets the video clearances or the company that distributes Sesame Street DVDs, but I would like to think that Warner Home Video could very well put out such a set.
All we got on video are two clips...
I need to check the various Sesame Street facebook pages, but has all the complaining about the lack of Elmo's World died down since reruns were shown last week?
And why do I get the feeling if they put out Elmo the Musical DVDs that bonus Elmo's World episodes would be included (the...
The scenes from the Puerto Rico episodes were edited together for a 1979 special called "Sesame Street Goes to Puerto Rico". It'd be great if they made that whole special available.
One thing I wonder: If Mitt Romney wins the election, will his wife make a guest appearance on Sesame Street like the last few first wives?
Considering how the media has been making a big deal out of Romney mentioning Big Bird (and he did say he likes Big Bird, so I don't really understand the...

I was referring to "Why Dizzy Can't Read". Assuming the whole episode was banned after only one airing, I find it odd that I remember the Dizzy one but not the beer one.
I remember that episode (assuming it's the one where Dizzy prefers to watch TV instead of read), but don't remember the banned episode (which we now know is included). Was it by chance included on The Plucky Duck Show (I doubt it, sinc eit's not about Plucky)?
