When I first heard the song, I wasn't impressed (and I'll admit, I stopped listening before the song was even over), but figured, "the music video will probably be better". And I was right! This music video is so much better than the song. Almost as good as the OK GO Muppet Show Theme.

Really? I haven't noticed him everywhere. While his role on How I Met Your Mother has clearly kept him from being typecast as Doogie Houser, I haven't really noticed him in too much aside from guest appearances. Has he starred in any big movies?
Interesting that this has Deena but not Pearl. Something tells me that Deena might have made many appearances without Pearl. Deena appears without Pearl in the "Big Hello 1-20" segment (Brian Meehl was performing Barkley in that segment), the 40th anniversary book has a photo of Brian Meehl...
I want cameos by Digit, Seymour, George the Janitor, Fleet Scribbler, and Mad Monty.
Actually I think I'd like a cameo by Brian Henson, performing all of his Muppets Tonight characters (perhaps they could all show up for the same scene, or Brian can make four "cameos" so Sal, Seymour, Nigel...
I was planning on listing the best Christmas episodes of TV shows, but now I'm trying to decide if I should make seperate lists for animated and live action shows.
There's one thing I've been thinking about, and I also saw this brought up on the toughpigs forum (after I thought about it), but although the Muppets seem to be bigger now because of the movie, most of the stuff that the Muppets have done since the movie has been promotion for the blu-ray...
The Muppet Mindset did an article on the one year later thing: http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-muppets-one-year-later.html
I also read on the tough pigs forum that there'll be a one year later article, only it'll most likely come out a little after the actual one-year date.
I like it better than The Muppet Christmas Carol.
After doing that list I do feel surprised that I didn't include The Santa Clause or The Santa Clause 3, or Elf. I wonder if I should have neglected one or both of the Home Alone movies (they take place around Christmas, and I like to consider...

The more I've been thinking about this, the more I've been wodnering if maybe Kevin could just resign from performing and keep his other duties, but be credited by a different name and keep a low profile.
Something I didn't realize before until now: When I saw all the old behind-the-scenes footage I noticed all of the segments shown being filmed were from seasons 12-14. I figured that was the only classic years to have behind-the-scenes footage, and on this set most of the behind-the-scenes stuff...

This is sad. I wonder if production on the next season will be delayed. I don't know if Clash had an understudy, but then again, they could very well have less new Elmo material next year. With Elmo the Musical and several old Elmo segments, they could probably stand to make more Elmo-less...
