Well, Scarecrow and one of the good witches did end up attracted to each other at the end. That's not much, and near the end, but it's more representative of their relationship than MFS was.
I've been thinking of what would make a good schedule for Sesame Street releases this year, after Elmo the Musical comes out:
June or July: A character spotlight video (preferably The Count or another Grover release) or a two-disc (or two-hour single-disc) celebration of Jerry Nelson on Sesame...
Well, I used to think he only said mee, even when I heard him make sounds that sound different (like "sadly temporary" in TMM and "no" following one of Bunsen's introductions in Muppet Labs), but has he ever actually said meep? It's usually spelled that way in books, even though he usually...
Last year they put out the "Best of Friends" release (which will soon be released in stores other than Target) and that seemed like a good way of spotlighting all the current main characters (except for Baby Bear and Murray). I hope some more get released soon, especially for The Count.
That...
I forgot about his line in the movie.
He was, as was Annie Sue (as an audience member). I wonder if that puppet's still in any condition to be performed, or if he'd need to be rebuilt.
Well, a lot of obscure characters were rebuilt for the last movie, and many didn't have dialogue. Among the rebuilt characters who didn't have dialogue include Droop, Thog, two Mutations, Lips, Trumpet Girl, Nigel, Bobby Benson, and Dr. Strangepork. That's nine characters (and I'm not sure...
I wonder how big of a part Annie Sue will have. Hopefully the fact that Louise Gold will be performing means that she'll at least have a line. Great to see confirmation that a classic character who wasn't rebuilt for the last film will be making an appearance (I know Foo-Foo's in a publicity...
I know about "A Celebration of Me, Grover!", and that is one of the best character spotlight videos. Currently Cookie Monster and Elmo are the only characters with two character spotlight videos (and "Playtime with Grover" is sort of a character spotlight video, as Grover is in every segment in...
I debated over listing segments, but since you asked, here's what I would do, following the structure of "Best of Friends" (four segments per character, though Oscar had five):
Super Grover - Bus, Computer, Super Grover and Super Elmo, Sarah Jessica Parker Waits for Big.
Super Grover 2.0 -...
Well, I just finished reading it. I liked the summer and winter issues the best. I feel like it turned out to be a good thing that winter was moved to the end as opposed to the beginning, as it's a better finale to the series than fall.
I wish this would have included more obscure characters...
Something else I'd like to see, if there aren't enough Super Grover 2.0 segments for one DVD, is a new Grover spotlight video, focusing on recurring segments and themes, done similar to how "The Best of Friends" was done: Four Super Grover segments, four Super Grover 2.0, four waiter Grover...
I wonder when that was made. I also wonder if there's any other Flossee and Splatt segments (I did a google search and only found a youtube link and some Muppet Wiki episode pages).
That looks very well-animated for a Sesame Street segment, especially something from before season 25. It's...
Something I've been wondering lately: Does anybody know if the cartoon that plays on the TV in the Monsterpiece Theater segment "Conservations with my Father" was an insert from Sesame Street or if it's a different program (probably Sesame Workshop-owned)? I doubt they would have spent time and...
Well I finally found this today. I haven't read it yet, as I'm a bit too excited. But I am surprised, I expected to see this in the magazine shelves (as that's where the Marvel reprints were), and also expected this to be magazine-sized (again, like the Marvel reprints). But it was in the...
I don't want to bring this thread off-topic, but according to a talk page on Muppet Wiki, the Sprout broadcast of an episode that featured this segment had it replaced with the "Books" episode, so there must be some reason.
I wonder if that might be the credits for one of the Elmo's World video releases. I haven't seen many of them ("The People in Your Neighborhood" is the only one I've seen), but I know that those have end credits.
EDIT: I just checked Muppet Wiki, and at least in America, the only video...
