It sounds like it should be very cool. The books make it feel like you've actually visited these places so I'm curious and excited to see what Universal does with this.
With out Bob I would not have such an appreciation for the people in my neighborhood:) Seriously I do love him and can't imagine what Sesame Street would be like with out him. He seems like such a genuinely nice person on camera and it's cool to hear he really is off camera too.
Ahh... the age old question. I really have no idea I just kinda accept that he's Animal and don't really think of him in a specific group. He's just himself. Sorry I'm not very helpful:halo:
I remember that one where Homer had to flee to some island to get away from them. That was hilarious:D I unfortunately missed last night's episode so I didn't get to see the shirt. Oh well they show reruns of the simpsons at least 3 times a day here so I guess I'll catch it another time.
The Harry Belefonte one comes to mind for me. That song Turn the World Around is probably my favorite closing number ever. I thought he really got along well with the Muppets plus I loved Fozzie trying to be a writer.
Found mine at Target yesterday. I have already watched the bonus features and really enjoyed them. I espcially liked the new version of Follow Me on the Jerry Juhl tribute. It brough tears to my eyes. The Uncle Matt sketches were great too. I was laughing so hard. So far definitly the dvd set...
They did come out yesterday. I had to search a bit but I found both at a Barnes and Nobles store. I had to ask at the counter though since only one of the B&N's in my area had it. No department stores I checked had them yet. I've skimmed through the books a bit and they seem really good. Can't...
I just saw this movie for the first time like 2 days ago and I absolutely LOVED it!:flirt: It is such a funny movie. I knew about Frank Oz's role before seeing it but the Muppet reference came as a total and very welcome surprise. Ahh the days when everybody knew who the Muppets were.
I wasn't going to watch the show but I decided to flip it on for a second and that second was just before Kermit and Miss Piggy sang the Muppet Show theme song! That was so cool to see I was not expecting it at all. There's just something about hearing that song on tv now that gives me...
it is a good special but just be aware that i ordered the dvd in dec. and i could not get it to work in any dvd players so they sent me another one and there was the same problem. it skips like crazy. they said it may be a bad batch and to send both back and either get the vhs or a refund. so...
What cool ideas. Ever since I first went to Muppet Vision 3D at WDW I have always dreamed of a Muppet theme park. A place where there is always Muppet music playing and everywhere you look there are Muppety details like in the 3D theater. That would really be a dream come true.
There could be a...
Very well said. I know I feel like sometimes fans hate the new stuff just to hate or because they're comparing it too much to the material in the 70s or 80s. And you said it perfectly it will never be the same so embrace these new muppets. The truth is times change and nothing in life ever stays...
I loved seeing Kevin and ELmo together. We don't get to see the muppeteers enough on tv. Unfortunately like everyone has been saying it was way too short. I would love to see a real interview with Kevin sometime.
