SCENE THIRTEEN
EXT. DOCK - DAY
JACK'S crew is lined up for his inspection. The crew consists of DR. TEETH, FLOYD, JANICE, ZOOT, ANIMAL, ROBIN, BEAKER, BUNSEN and a PIG with a hat down over "his" face.
JACK, KERMIT and FOZZIE inspect the crew.
FOZZIE
Well, there you are, Captain. A...
Honestly, I don't see why the classic Muppet style doesn't appeal to a younger audience. Maybe it's because I grew up with them, and maybe it's because I was exposed to a lot of older entertainment growing up (like Laurel and Hardy and the classic musicals). Those things just seem like they...
My #1 is: Mokey
My #2 is: Boober
My #3 is: Wembley
My #4 is: Gobo
My #5 is: Red
My #6 is: Traveling Matt
Gosh, I was not expecting that! Mokey was my number one by quite a bit. I figured Boober would be number two, but I thought I was a bit more of a Wembler than Mokey. It's...
SCENE TWELVE
INT. BLACK PEARL - PIGGY'S QUARTERS - NIGHT
PIGGY is standing alone. JOHNNY and SAL enter carrying a beautiful, purple dress.
JOHNNY
All right, there, sweet-cheeks. Listen up here. You're gonna be dinin' with the captain tonight. And he asks that you wear this...
JOHNNY...
Muppets have always performed popular music, adding their own spin to it. With "I've Grown Accustomed to Your Face," the spin was that the singer got eaten. With "Bop to the Top," the spin was a traditional battle with Miss Piggy, ending with Kermit getting hurt. It works with that classic...
I think just Bop to the Top was filmed last year. Maybe the Jonas Brothers skit, too. Those both seem like they were filmed for something else, and just sort of put into this one.
The Bop to the Top number was memorable, I think. But this is about the third time I've mentioned how great...
SCENE ELEVEN
EXT. TORTUGA - STREET - SHORTLY THEREAFTER
FOZZIE BEAR is fast asleep, curled up in a corner sucking his thumb. JACK and KERMIT approach with buckets of water.
JACK tosses a bucket of water on FOZZIE to wake him. He doesn't wake up. KERMIT tosses another bucket of water on...
That's actually kinda the way she acts in her show, too. I watched enough of it over the last month looking for "Studio DC" commercials.
Whitmire's performance in Studio DC was fantastic! Just brilliant. Definitely a highlight of the show.
He's listed in the credits, and I think someone did a voice match to when he performed adult Kermit in one episode of Muppet Babies. I think that's how they determined it on the Wiki. I'd have to double-check.
And so it shall be...
SCENE TEN
ON THE INTERCEPTOR - LATE AFTERNOON
JACK is at the helm. KERMIT sits on the deck next to him, sharpening his sword.
KERMIT
(mid-sentence) ... so, then when my mother died, I decided to go looking for my father.
JACK
(yawns) My, what a riveting yarn...
That's right! That was in the Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story movie. I forgot where it was from. That one was pretty good.
Who played Statler and Waldorf? (different episode, the question just occured to me)
SCENE NINE
EXT. BEACH - DAY
JACK and KERMIT are ducked down behind some wreckage, looking over toward the royal dock. The Interceptor, the smaller ship, is heavily guarded, while the Dauntless, the much larger ship, only has a few GUARDS occupying it.
KERMIT
We're going to steal a...
