according to an IMDB post:
I saw a Q&A session w/ McKean & Gaiman @ Comic-Con in San Diego Summer 2004 about "Mirror Mask". Here's the low-down from what I can remember....
• The film will have an "art house" run in the states...but it will be very limited (I'm assuming all the big markets...
I got the stuffed Kermit and Piggy bride and groom set for my wedding.
See them here
I remember getting them on ebay, but it was a while ago, and they are on a shelf of honor in our house.
just an option.
Ok, if Ken said it I can understand.
Seems like the other hats have magnets so this one could have, but Palisades has done so good otherwise, I think I can overlook this one small issue. :)
when oh when?
I ordered my Jim Henson figure over a week ago. What's the turnaround like on these? I would love them to come in soon.
(The Palisades site lists it as 'Sent to warehouse' since Thanksgiving.)
Just curious
Maybe Palisades has spoiled me by all the great toys up until now, or maybe I got a bad one, but should the top hat for Fozzie be magnetic? It has no magnetism to it at all. I tried the hat on other Fozzies, and tried other hats on him, an no luck.
Other than that, a dang good looking figure.
He's great!
I got mine in the mail yesterday and let him sit in his package for a day before opening him up and posting him in all his glory. The sculpt looks great, and he stands so much taller than the other figures.
Sesame Street at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
My wife wants a copy and I find several on Amazon (mainly used)
Has there been a copy released on DVD?
I'm looking at the Best Buy ad from today's paper, and it shows the Fraggle Rock: Where it all Began DVD as $14.99, but the strange thing is that it says beside it "22 Episodes". That's can't be right, can it?
2 movies that would have convinced me (were I not already sure)
were Multiplicity and League of Their Own.
Watch those on TV sometime and watch the way the view shifts all over the screen and see if that doesn't do it.
why prefer widescreen? why not?
Most of us remember movies from seeing them in a movie theatre, so seeing them in 'pan and cram' really changes the way they look.
There is a great example of the differences between here atTHIS LINK
Widescreen format shows the movies in the way they were...
"First ever"?
I have a little PVC figure of Kermit wearing a leather jacket leaning against a motorcycle that came out a few years ago. guess they have the second :)
I agree that these movies should be done as widescreen, but in order to not live without them, I listed them on my Amazon wish list.
My family can get me a good present, and I save my money in hopes of eventual widescreen happiness
I have been wanting this for so long. Great to see that it finally happened.
Though it stinks that the Post Office will be selling me stamps that will never be used.
wow.
if I may quote Chandler from 'Friends':
"Can... open. worms...everywhere"
:)
(and for the record, my problem with Wal-mart is a bit different than that. )
so, in the opinion of those who have purchased it, does this DVD merit the trip to Sprawl-Mart, or is it better to wait until...
