I actually saw the anime one first, and I was impressed by the visuals but thought the story was a tad confused. I don't do well with movies that ask you to *care* about robots (didn't like A.I. much either). I just saw the older Metropolis on the BIG SCREEN, and it was brilliant. -SPEEGS
