I was looking at the forum part of Muppet Wiki and saw that the game includes an app where you can watch a large variety of clips, including many classic clips. I read that the app even arranges them by season (as well as "classic clips", "celebrities", and so on). And I read that it even...
I'd seen that website and contract where Jim gave 51% of the characters to your grandfather, and was confused. At the time I didn't realize it was the rights to the characters, I thought it was for a portion of the Muppets (as in all characters and the company, even though Jim didn't officially...
It's sad if TV Tropes really is wanting to avoid any tropes being named for programs. I can't imagine what kind of title Flanderization could be renamed to.
Yesterday I was looking at some old Mad Magazine parodies (from the book Mad About the Eighties), and there's a few things that struck me as odd.
In the Taxi parody "Taxing", at the end Louie tells the cabbies he wants them to give some people free rides, and they object at first (Bobby...
Often I go to stores with automatic self-check-out machines, and it'll be common for some of them to be closed. What's the point of closing an automatic check-out machine? I can see the regular lanes being closed due to not having enough cashiers, but the automatic ones should be open 24/7...
Whenever I read that part of Kevin's book about failed characters, I can't help but feel like he's saying Dexter was a failed character regardless of him being too difficult to perform. Just because he was a difficult character to perform doesn't mean that he wasn't liked by the kids or was a...
I was thinking the same thing.
I had trouble paying attention to the street story, but Cookie Crumby Pictures and Abby's Flying Fairy School were good.
I also enjoyed the yoga instructor in those bits with Murray. She sure was hot.
So it looks like this is going to have the street story where Baby Bear and Chris turn into bees. That one was already included in the Elmo's Rainbow DVD. I guess this will be the first time a street story was released on multiple DVD compilations (the letter of the month club street story with...
Well I suppose they couldn't get any clips owned by Disney or Sesame Workshop. It would have been great if they included some Jim footage from Henson's Place and Sesame Street: 20 and Still Counting.
Well the promo for the book was taken down and replaced with a new promo:
The only change I could tell/remember is how a clip from An Evening with Jim Henson and Frank Oz was presented. In the old version, we see Kermit and Cookie Monster, but in this one it's changed so it just shows Jim...
I don't think anybody has suggested a Swinetrek stage. That or a Koozebane one would be awesome. Though if there is a Koozebane one, I would be disappointed if the only Koozebanian creatures included are created for this game as opposed to ones who were on the show.
If there were a Swinetrek...
I wonder if "hump day" would belong in the "Aluminum Christmas Trees" trope at TV Tropes. That trope is for things seen or mentioned in works of fiction that are real but due to when they were made, when they take place, or where they take place, the average person might think it was made up...
I was just thinking about an idea that I think would make a great two-disc collectors set: "Best of Cookie Monster's Spoofs". Disc 1 would be themed around the best of Monsterpiece Theater, with maybe a few bonus Cookie Monster spoofs from the show (like Monster Movie Classics), and disc 2 could...
What's the deal with that Geico commercial where a camel is happy that it's Hump Day? Until a few weeks ago I didn't know that "hump day" was an actual term for Wednesday. How many people would have known that if not for the commercial?
And what's with these commercials I've seen lately where...
I was just looking at the Muppet Wiki "Kermit on Sesame Street" page and saw that you can achieve points or something if you watch a Kermit clip from the video library. I had no idea that Kermit was in this. But when looking at the Muppet Wiki page for this I saw it mention "Elmo's World: Frogs"...
A few nights ago I dreamt that somebody I knew had a taped-from-TV episode of Sesame Street from the 1980s or 1990s, and it had some rare segments that I don't think have surfaced in english for us. Though the only thing specifically that I remember is the "Cutie and the Beast" segment (or has...
Do the stages each have the same maximum of characters? Couldn't there be a really big stage, with all the characters we can digitize now, plus additional characters (preferably all existing characters as opposed to original)? Maybe it could be a planet Koozebane stage.
