just a heads up that the exclusive anniversary R2-D2 offer has started at TRU, the only way to get the figure(free) is to spend $20(after sales/before tax) on HASBRO Star Wars merchandise.
I'd think it would depend on the sale of the EM bus to decide what to go with, because if a non 'playset' sold well, then the boat would definatly be the way to go (as long as it included Mr. Bimbo :p) I think it'd be better to release the stage before the backstage (of course that's only my...
are you sure they didn't just get moved (to another area/ or in the back while they make room for them?) the muppet figures at the TRU here moved an aisle over in the past month.
also, as of this afternoon the New England TRU warehouse still doesn't have series two...
that's a definate right there, either that or I'm gonna have to get an extra fozzie and paint him green =)
NOOOOO, they killed Dead Tom!!!
and don't forget we need a Mr. Bimbo figure! (the thing that lived on Fozzie's finger in MTI)
that's why it looks strange! his feet aren't blue! I always assumed they would be, since his beak is blue. hmm.. I think I like the regular color feet better.
he looks ok to me, but then again I havn't seen enough of the muppets (recently) to be able to tell for sure. but aren't birds legs(claws, whatever..) usually shorter?
Joe
(who is a club member, so his computer didn't explode when he loaded the image ;) )
in the past few months that system's become standardized at all TRUs in the US, so most, if not all of them, do have it. and I think that having some information that may be correct is better than being told "I don't know, I can't check, now go away" I still work at TRU and would NEVER tell...
lol, I can't believe how awful these people can be, ask for the manager next time you're in there and tell them these people arent' doing their jobs...
I really need to get my scanner working now. Roy Rogers has continued their line of Muppets activity pads, the newest one is for Halloween. it's got Kermit dressed as a mummy on the cover.
Stadler and Waldork, two characters Disney is secretly working on, should they not get the Muppets :p
Good Grief, the comedian's a bear!
(No he's a-not, he's just really bad!)
I wish I'd known earlier, three weeks ago the largest antique car(truck/bus/motorcycle) show/flea market in the world was held in PA, I'm sure there would've been something there... (we planned on going for a day, but didn't make it)
anyways, if someones got the make/model of the EM Bus...
TRU SKN#s
here are the TRU SKN #s
EM Playset #653996
Series 2 #654022
but alas, the New England warehouse still hasn't received them. :( (no micronauts either)
Series two has been in the TRU computer system for over a month!
if you don't have the SKN #s (which I'll get and post tomorrow) all they have to do is search 'muppets' and series one, two, and both playsets come up
to quote Big Bird -
Oh everyone makes mistakes.
Oh, yes they do
Your sister and your brother and your dad and mother too;
Big people, small people, matter of fact, all people!
Everyone makes mistakes, so why can't you?
in other words, don't worry about it. :)
just my two cents (one of which he lost along the way)
(this is the part where I'd say hey I'd buy two as I have with everything else, but I decided to leave it out ;) )
anyways, there's also the Muppets tonight 'stage' as well, while not as famous, you could theoreticallly do that as the...
