Hey, congratulations, Warrick! Tell us about them! (If you've gotten them yet.)
I'm happy to report it appears they did remove the Peanuts sketch of questionable authenticity from the auction.

Interesting, assuming the descriptions are accurate.
I mention this because Cooper Own sent me mail regarding a "Peanuts sketch" for one of the TV specials they have up for auction (as part of the same overall auction as this Muppet listing).
The listing for the Peanuts sketch had several...
Well I see this thread has mostly stopping being survey repsonses. But I've been behind on forum reading and I'm just now catching up, so I'm going to do a survey response anyway. :-)

Okay, Muley pointed me in the direction of this thread, which I was previously unaware of even though I am huge Peantus and Muppets fan. I only read some of the MC forums and this isn't one of my regulars!
For background, I maintain a comprehensive web guide to the Peanuts TV shows and I'm...
Just an update - one of my Peanuts colleagues wrote to Ms. Noble regarding the inaccurate claims made regarding some of the Peanuts pieces in the article on the Animation Art Gallery's website, as well as the spurious claim about James Otis being Jim Henson's son.
He received a reply this...
I've done a little more research and uncovered another article (linked to on the Animation Art Gallery web page, which the press release is about), that claims that James Otis is Jim Henson's son-in-law, not son.
This makes more sense, but considering this is the only place I was able to dig up...
Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this question, but it looked like the most appropriate place.
In my guise of "maintainer of website about the Peanuts comic strip," today I received a press release that talked about a show of Charles Schulz and Dr. Seuss drawings that come from the...

Just in case you want to check it out to see if they show a bit about the "Sesame Street" part. I'll be watching it looking for "Snoopy" stuff as well...
You're welcome, Scott.
Probably the French company paid for the new print, and Columbia Tristar would have had to either pay for their own or reimburse the French company for use in some way. But yeah, it's too bad they didn't spring for a new print for the Dark Crystal Superbit (although from...
Okay, finally got my discs so here's a short summary.
"The Dark Crystal" Superbit is virtually indistiguishable from the original release in terms of picture and audio. There may be a slightly increased level of detail in the picture, but you have to look really hard for it. And the print...
The DVDTalk website now has reviews of both Superbit titles as well, and they do comment on differences between the two releases:
Dark Crystal:

My copies of the Superbit versions were...
Nope, no Kermit and no explanation. I checked out "The Other Half"'s website and he's not listed as a scheduled guest any time this week anymore.
Sorry for the bad information, folks... it is very irritating when TV listings aren't reliable.

The DVD news website DVDFile has put up reviews of the "Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth" Superbit DVD releases:

Unfortunately they don't really compare them...
There was no more detail in the listing beyond "Kermit the Frog," sorry. And the show's webpage had no info, either.
And with a nod to Sarah, I do love my TiVo. It's programmed to look for any program whose description includes "Kermit", "Muppet(s)", or "Jim Henson"... and it automatically...
I know, you're thinking, "he's got the subject wrong, it was Pepe on 'The Other Half.'"
Well, my TiVo listings claim that Kermit will also be appearing on "The Other Half" on Monday March 3rd... so check your local listings for the show's airtime and maybe the UN won't pre-empt this one. :)...
When I joined the club, I didn't get the impression that all the figures offered would be $15. I didn't get a price impression at all, beyond that the first couple would be $15. I just got the impression that I'd be offered an opportunity to buy the exclusive figures... And if now some of them...
