The Fix it Shop wasn't seen at all this year. But there was an episode where Maria was carrying a Toaster, and headed down passed the Laundromat. So they probably moved it to an offscreen area. They'll probably still mention it on the show, but won't show it anymore.
:) was seen in the Season 1, 3 and 4 premires. Aside from that he was in a few other street sketches during the 70's. He was in the one that takes place in the Arbor area in front of the Garage doors where he draws the letter M on the screen with his "magic" finger, and he was in one where Susan...
I know exactly what your'e saying! I too am very upset that theyr'e not using many classic clips at all anymore. For years they would always put a fair share of both new and old clips in every episode, and I always liked it that way. But now their main focus is the new material. And the older...
I always thought of Ernie and Bert as 2 single guys in their early 20's sharing the rent of an apartment, since NYC is so expensive. Also they are very different from each other, which could happen with roomates in real life too. I think originally during the first few seasons, or mabye even the...
The Gorg who would be King was actually the second to last episode. Doc already knew Gobo in that episode. It just wasn't mentioned in the plot is all until the episode after that when Doc was trying to leave food for Gobo so he'd come back.
Originally Oscar's charachter hadn't been truly evolved yet. To show him acting nicely and liking things he would later hate like Ice Cream cones was probably just one of the things they looked past at the beggining before they made him a fulltime "grouch" who wouldn't say please, thank you...
Hey everyone. I haven't been around in a while. But I posted 2614 a while back. So here is 2621, also from 1989. Here it is. I hope you all enjoy it.

Here it is. The second to last episode of the 20th Season. From 1989. The funny thing is, for being a kid's show this reminds me a lot of the traditional pregnant/hospital situations, Iv'e seen on sitcoms and movies. Enjoy everyone! And please post your comments on it if you'd like...

:wisdom:I started watching SS when I was about 3 and stopped when I was probably 7. Then watched it again from the time I was 9 till I was 10. Altogether I thought it was a good show for kids and older kids. Since they did have skits like the Continent song, and other things that only older kids...
Michael Earl Davis's Snuffy
Here are some clips of Michael Earl Davis's Snuffy. And Since this is the 1981 Finale. This was also the very last time Michael ever performed Snuffy. How ironic is that?

The thing is, even from 1993-1998 The Around the Corner years. I remember still seeing classic clips from the shows first few seasons. You'd see an old looking skit with noticeably outdated looking Muppets, then back on the street you'd see the new bright colored set with the new looking...
I'm just wondering, since I have not seen any new material this season with any of his 3 charachters. Does anyone know if he has now left Sesame Street as well? It wouldn't surprize me if he did. He's been phasing himself out of that show since the late 70's. If anyone has any info on this...
It was nice seeing Telly and Oscar together, and the Grouchkateers, and Telly playing his Tuba! 3 classic elements all in one new skit. That was really cool. As Telly used to say I give that sketch 5 Wows, WOW WOW WOW WOW and........ WOW........
Also great to see an old Ernie and Bert skit...
I figured I'd start a fun thread here called The Best 5 years of Sesame Street. I'd like to know, what would you say were the Best 5 years of Sesame Street? If you could pick any consecutive 5 years in a row, that you feel the show was at it's absolute best, and had some of the best episodes...
Hello everyone, i'm new here and I have to say. Today's street story was awsome. It reminded me a lot of the Worm Olympics episode they aired about 15 years ago. They could have done a better job with the inserts though. Since the topic was "apology" they could have shown the Ernie and Bert skit...
