The first three episodes didn't have many songs, pretty much one-per-episode (and I don't remember "Bear Left Then Bear Write" having any numbers), but with the next one involving karaoke, I guess the next one will make up for the shortage of singing so far.
I've just now started thinking that...
Maybe I've asked before, but what's the deal with the opening scene for Mrs. Doubtfire, where Daniel quits because the cartoon he's in glorifies smoking? He objects because it's a children's cartoon, the rest of the staff doesn't show his concern (and it's already animated, so it's too late to...
Reminds me of something I thought a long time ago. I thought that, while the regular-sized Muppets could ride bikes, it'd ironically be more challenging for the full-body characters, as I assumed that all full-bodied Muppets (besides the Gorgs) were performed the same way as Big Bird, with one...
I've been reading some of the "Strawman has a point" entries, which is for characters who are supposed to be against the main characters or seen as "wrong" for what they say or do, when they do make good points. And I find that I agree/identify with/feel sorry for the strawmen more than the...
Gonzo can't tell them apart and the ones that he calls Camilla usually go along with it. Maybe one of them broke up with him (or vice-versa) for the first time, unaware that he's been with many Camilla chickens.
Last night, I dreamt that the second episode of The Jim Henson Hour was rerun on television. And that it was a lot better than it actually is (in actuality, the second episode is one of my least favorites).
Recently, I was watching Rowlf and Baskerville's performance of "Dog Eat Dog", and it seems like the laugh track goes off when nothing funny is said or done. Seems like there's laughter whenever Baskerville sings. Is it supposed to be funny that it's a dog singing?
Rover Joe did appear later in the season, though.
It reminds me of something I had been thinking about. So there's a Muppet Workshop in New York, but The Jim Henson Company also has an office in LA, and there's quite a few Muppet productions that were done in Canada and England (and other...
According to Muppet Wiki, her name is . Don't know what the source is, though.
I've seen quite a few pics from this next episode that I haven't seen in any promos, and before the last episode premiered, there were several photos I saw that I didn't see in any promos or sneak peeks online. Are...
They could do an episode where the Electric Mayhem gets arrested and/or goes on trial (for non-drug-related reasons, maybe they could be wrongfully accused or framed).
I wish that "better than the first episode" was one of the poll options.
I thought this one was better than the first. So much clever-ness from Kermit.
Wow, Lips doesn't sound too different from the Barnyard Boogie number, and in both this and that, I thought he sounded a bit like Dr...
I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the reviews from Tough Pigs or The Muppet Mindset.
I thought episodes would be available for free viewing the day after they were broadcast, but it's been a day and you have to sign in to view on ABC.com and Hulu.
I haven't seen this one yet, but I already heard about Lips' line in the spoilers thread.
As for whether the whole Electric Mayhem are stoners or just Zoot, I've often thought of them all as stoners, but thought of Zoot as being the biggest stoner of them all. Like, the rest smoke more or...
Does anybody remember if the pilot was done before we knew more details of the show, like that Miss Piggy would be hosting the talk show?
Because I wonder if it was shot before they decided on things like what show they'd be doing and who the host would be, or that Denise would be the head of...
I'd say that Nickelodeon aired more than just a handful of reruns of existing animated shows. There was also The Alvin Show, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Danger Mouse, Garfield and Friends, Bullwinkle, Under Dog, and there was a cartoon package called Cartoon Kablooey, which I believe showed old UPA...
One image for the next episode has Lips dressed similar to Zoot, wearing shades and the same hat. It makes me wonder if that's addressed in the episode (whether it has to do with the plot or scene.... with one of the plots for the next episode being everyone being annoyed with Bobo selling...
Been watching the show on ABC.com quite a bit, but today for the first time, I paused it to see something... And when paused, ABC.com replaces the image with a promotional shot. How dare they? Not sure if Hulu allows for pausing to see still images.
Something that took me awhile to notice...
