Weird, since they already pretty much did that with Hook. Granted that wasn't the straight Peter Pan story but I wouldn't think they'd do it all over again!

It's just like every book to movie adaptation, there's no way to get everything in. And that's even more the case for HP as the books get longer and longer and longer. There are just so many details that can only be expressed in writing that you miss out on if you just see the movies. But...
