    The Typewriter Man

Well, I can tell you some things. I think I have seen pretty much all of them except "i-ink" and "o-owl." The reason why Noggin called it "Machine: n-nose (lowercase)" or whatever is because that's actually what they were originally called. And I remember that exact South Park episode...

Well, for the first time ever, he was not used AT ALL last season!:(

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

I feel like I should reply to this. It's amazing you know all those animators! I happen to know a lot of songwriters for that stuff, and they're often writers who only ever did one thing for the show. Where do you get all that information?

    People on seasme street. (80-86)

The sign language lady's name is Linda, played by Linda Bove. She really is deaf, and like Susan, she does still appear on the show, but very rarely.

    Sesame Road

Now when you said that Christopher Cerf does a dead on impersonation on "Hey Food", I hope you weren't criticizing him, because he's my friend. Also, I only vaguely remember the "Hey Food" segment on the show. For some reason, I thought the piano sounded more honky-tonk like, but I'm not sure...

    Sesame Road

You know, this is one of my favorite CDs too. But there was actually a lawsuit with this album. It was okay to do those 2 Beetles' parodies ("Letter B" and "Hey Food") on the show, but the original purpose of those was never to make money off the general public, it was just to be funny on the...

    Grover Thread

It's actually a parody of McDonald's. I also noticed that it did not stay on for very long. Maybe some people didn't get it, because they might not have McDonald's everywhere.

    2 Cookie Monster's?

Are you really sure it's Frank? I mean, even when I heard him, I could have sworn it was, but the lady at the workshop tells me it's not. But I do think it sure sounds like Frank Oz.

    2 Cookie Monster's?

I think I did a little bit. I also noticed a difference in his voice sometimes. In some of them, it was David Rudman performing him, who isn't too great. Other times, it's Eric Jacobsen, who sounds a lot like Frank Oz.

Well, Journey To Ernie will be changed. And it will be much better. Even the people at the workshop thought it was terrible. They will go to fancier places, like the land of shapes, the beach, and stuff like that. And there will be a song at the end, "We Found Ernie" I think it's called.

    Gladys Thread

I actually haven't seen all that much of her, but I think she would often try out for parts that wouldn't work, like that.

    Sesame Street censorship

I think another reason why Harvey Kneeslapper was chucked was because people didn't like him all that well. He was a one-note joker, where all of his jokes sounded pretty much the same. They still used inserts with him for many years after they stopped using him. They just didn't need to do...

    How about Snuffy?

There is this one old sketch with Forgetful Jones from the late 70s where he forgot to brush his teeth, and his voice sounded very different! I thought it sounded a bit like Jerry Nelson, but maybe it was that Michael Earl Davis. And also, Clementine was in that sketch, who was performed by...

What sketches are on this video?

As far as I can recall, I don't think it had ANYTHING that was originally from the show. I think it was mostly new stuff done just for the video.

    Sesame Street censorship

How did this thread get so many replies so quickly? Also, there was a SS episode with The Ugly Duckling that kept doing stuff to "make himself not look so darn ugly." This episode took place in 1993. Was that before they phased out the violence?

Michael Earl Davis?? I don't think I've ever heard of him! What else did he do?

    Sesame Street censorship

I actually heard someplace that the "Kermit News: Rapunzel" sketch originally had Prince Charming yelling "SHUT UP!!" I don't remember if he said it to Kermit or Rapunzel, but it definitely was edited out. And also, the most infamous counting series with the baker. From about 1981 on, they...
