OK, these are practical inventions we use, but it seems to me that none of these directly were invented with knowledge from the moon. They were invented originally as tools to go to the moon, but it's not like we invented something because of the actual stuff on the moon. We didn't really use...
Ah. I see. I didn't catch that, but I'm not one bit surprised.
Yeah. I like the idea of Grover and Telly appearing on something and not just Elmo or Cookie Monster. I'd like to see more of them maybe show up around somehow instead of the main ones.
The interview itself, was it just me, or did...
Yes. Yes. Elmo is annoying. I definitely agree. (I'm one of those people who don't like Elmo...)
I agree again. I like Animal, but the problem is that he's been put up there with the main gang. I feel bad for the rest of the EM. Just him being the most popular among casual fans is annoying to...
I missed a lot here today. I don't feel like quoting, so you'll just have to :o with me:
Baby Animal on House of Mouse: I seriously doubt that that's true. Especially since Muppet Wiki doesn't seem to say about it, plus he'd be kinda out of place there. I doubt it's true. Remember, Wikipedia...
Um...the people saying they mixed up Grover and Telly...did they? I watched the appearance and can't recall that, but I can think of one or two lines that were kinda iffy on that...
Yes, we do. Thankfully...
But luckily they did play the SST theme then. And it wasn't really much of an appearance, but better than nothing I guess. I loved the Telly eye contact thing.
They're on right now.
Am I the only one who was offended that they used the song Mahna Mahna earlier to say they were coming on? I know it was performed on Sesame Street, but I don't like the idea of confusing more people about the difference between the Muppet Show and Sesame Street.
EDIT...
I have to pull in here and say, why Bean? Now, I haven't seen an absolute ton of Bean, but every time I've seen him I really sympathize with him. He's always the one under appreciated that its getting hit by a door or something. And he really isn't conceited. The other Muppets have praised Bean...
My point is that right now it doesn't seem very practical to spend millions of dollars "expanding our knowledge" when we could be using that money to end world hunger or do something to help the thousands of people dying from poor living conditions everyday.
And that's fine. Going up into space...
And what impact would we feel?
You're right, it won't. I kinda think the end of the world will get here first...I just don't see the whole "the earth is gone let's pile up to the moon" thing happening.
I agree with that, except when we have to spend millions of dollars to get it.
Be sure to use Bounty paper towels. The Muppets said so. And I know what you mean about the laughing thing. The other night I spent five minutes in pure laughter because I accidentally said "you humans" in a post...
I'm not completely bashing the space program here, but what I'm saying is that we spent millions of dollars doing that, and yet our lives haven't really been impacted whatsoever. And what are we to do with the knowledge we get about the moon?
I think it could be a good thing if we could find a...
Liberace was a guest star in season 3 of the Muppet Show.
Oh wait...I forgot I'm on a Muppet forum. That's normally what I would say if someone mentioned Liberace in real life...
