I'm not saying that...I'm saying that since this serves exactly what it was supposed to do, why are we complaining about it? If it was tagged as the "Best Children's Movie of All Time," then that's something to complain about. But it's purpose is very obviously to be a fun little interactive...
I never actually heard the original recording, but Muppet Wiki says that the original was also like that.
I know that he has done that, but for some reason if I remember there was maybe a side comment or two that Gonzo said that hinted around to that on that recording...
You've been on this forum for two months, and you still don't know what ziffeling is?
Whenever you post a reply, and another reply by someone else shows up ahead of yours that just showed up when you replied, the person ziffeled you. Here's an example:
Pretend I was about to post in a thread...
That's the reason it's always a good idea to add something more in questions like that, and say "No, I'm not off Tuesday" or "No, I don't know yet," so it becomes very clear...but so many times questions like that are asked, and you have to be really careful...
EDIT: The ziffels strike again...
I understand what you're saying, and I agree that children's entertainment should be better than this...I'm just saying that there is no reason to moan and groan and overreact to a thing that does serve its purpose.
Right, I am referring to the "Wishing Song," that Madeline Kahn was dubbed over. I am referring to the 25th anniversary album, but it does appear that it was the same way on the 1978 25th anniversary album. I always assumed that that was Camilla, as for the song to work properly in that specific...
I think she is saying that she doesn't really want to see it again, due to the fact that it's sort of weird to watch the 14 year old version of yourself like that.
OK, somebody please fill me in on why this was moved from the "On the Web" section to the "Family Worlds" section and why the title went from "What about a Muppet travel guide?" to "The Great Muppet travel guide?" Neither of those moves make absolutely one bit of sense to me...
But it works! That's just the thing...it doesn't look scary at all from a child's perspective, I absolutely know for a fact I would've bugged my parents to take me to see this when I was little...it's one thing if it doesn't appeal to kids, but it does. Kids like a colorful cast of characters...
What? That's like my dream, to get in a car with the Muppets...if I am killed, at least it was due to the Muppets...
But wouldn't it be fun to go on a road trip with the Muppets? Do all sorts of singing and playing music, maybe some running gags along the way...
It may not be the original set, but if you watch everything carefully, in each production the theater is supposed to be the same place, it has never moved...in IAVMMCM, they remade the Muppet theater set from TMS, in the new movie the set may not have resembled the original quite as much, but it...
*fumes are coming out of ears, for reasons that no one expects*
SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS THE BIG BEEF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?
This is a movie...a kids movie...it does exactly what it's supposed to do...leave it alone!
It's there...it may not be the best executed movie in the world, but it's there...
Y'know, I was reading TP's Great Muppet Road Trip series, and I was thinking, that obviously didn't showcase EVERY single place in the world that you can find something Muppety. So I thought maybe it would be fun and convenient to compile some sort of Muppet travel guide, either here, or maybe...
