That's a funny thing, like, for example, I use guys regardless of what gender I'm referring to, and no one really seems to have a problem with it. Some places throughout the US, though, that really seems to bug them. But for the most part, I don't think people mind if you use "guys" to refer to...
That is my biggest problem. The fact that the dog looks real. Make a fun, dog puppet and add that voice and personality and we'll call it a day. But once it looks real, adding a voice just makes it all so fake.
Y'know, "dude" is actually a word that I never, ever use. It just never seemed to make it to my vocabulary.
"Guys," on the other hand, is a word I use constantly. I mean, basically anytime I'm referring to 2 or more people, "guys" is somewhere in the sentence. Probably more in real life than...
*wonders if she just randomly pulled the name out of a hat, due to the fact that many people name their dogs Fozzie without even ever hearing of the Muppets or the band, thinking "Fuzzie" is too common, how about "Fozzie!"*
Well, I think Sarge is referring to the computer field in general. If you can find a specific niche in that area that not a lot of people are doing, then I think, you'd be alright.
My "What was the point of that?" Quentin Tarantino.
They obviously needed a human to fit that role, but they could've gotten anyone other than Ashanti and made it a million times better. Not that Ashanti's acting ruined the movie, but that since she's an R&B singer, they revolve half the...
That's what I'm thinking they're probably gonna have to do...I know the backup-ish shortstop is going to be on maternity leave for a few days, so that might make room for one, however I think that Chad Qualls is about ready to come back from the bereavement list...so we'll see how that all plays...
*jumps up and down*
YES! YES! YES! EL TORO STRIKES AGAIN! PEDRO ALVAREZ!
After this half inning, we'll need three outs to cap off our 19 inning win. :) Yaay!
Y'know, I never really hear people use the word "sick" all that often in that instance. It seems to me that they'd just as soon replace it with a swear or something...or not use anything there at all.
They always try that...it never works...many times they have to revert to giving me hot compresses to put on my arm for a few minutes to make the veins stick out.
That's the exact kind of people I have a habit of getting...
Now on the subject of people drawing blood...sheesh! I've had people who have had no idea what their doing at all...sticking the needle in, then fishing around for a vein...it's ridiculous. For a while, however, I've quit going to the hospital and starting going to a blood draw place near me...
Not really, I was more going for the fact that sometimes thrill rides give you a bad feeling, yet afterwords, you kinda liked it. It's weird.
You heard wrong. They are a ton worse...shots are nothing after them...
Pfft...this was the topic, so we aren't really muffining. No guilt in this...
Honestly, I kinda do. I guess it's sort of like how people like thrill rides...
I guess a lot of my tolerance to shots is due to the fact that I was getting blood draws once a month from an early age...which are 80 times worse than shots...
