I would also take another Thanksgiving release, as for me, Christmas just seems way too busy of a time for a new Muppet movie. Thanksgiving is still in the swing of things, yet at the same time is out of much of the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

Car 54 actually is from the early 60s, but other than that, yes, it is a sitcom (and a very good one at that), featuring the above mentioned people. It's pretty much a show about the lives of two police officers.

Actually, Disney owns every single Muppet movie...I believe that you are getting owning rights in general confused with owning the rights to release the movie on video.
