Well Hubert the mathematician shall explain...complementary angles are angles that add together to make a right angle, or 90 degree angle. Therefore, a 50 degree angle and a 40 degree angle add together to make a 90 degree angle, making those two complementary.
You could do multiple things: the easiest is to copy the smilie (using right click on Windows or control key on Mac) and then paste it into your message. Of course you could also use the "Copy Link Location" button and insert the link into the little box that shows up when you hit the tree icon.
So many funny things just happened to me here...first, I got really confused because I thought I was in the new member introduction thread, and then I thought that GonzoLover was saying "Hey Hubert" rather than "Hey Stuart"...

Because there's been an epidemic of ziffeling going on lately, and quoting you ensures that it won't look as if I was talking to the person who ziffeled me, but rather the person I am originally talking to.
You can, it's just that when you ask a question that could be taken literally and don't use any way to signify you're joking, it often leads to misinterpretation.
This is pretty much the thank you thread...the two are almost the same, other than the fact that you are praising someone or telling you that you praise them depending on the situation...I see no real trouble with thanking people here also.
