Also, Frank Oz was the police officer who freed Jake in that film, but you probably knew that. I love that movie. ;)

It was a sad day when Jim Henson died....

    Woah! Jackpot! Thanks! :)

It was a sad day when Jim Henson died....

It was. I never saw it, but I just read that it was at the very end. Does anybody know where one could buy this special? Or the video copy of Henson's funeral? :sympathy:

It was a sad day when Jim Henson died....

Oh my lord, that is SO SAD. I'm literally crying as I write this. They sang that at his funeral? How'd they not CRY?! :( Thanks for sharing this with us though. I love it. :(

You might be an Obsessed Muppet Fan if when you read a book, and there's lyrics to a song the characters make up, you imagine it's set to Muppet music. :sing:

It was a sad day when Jim Henson died....

They did die way to soon. And it's even sadder to think that if one little thing had changed for each of them, one tiny little thing, they'd still be with us today.

    Dreams

Finally had another one awesome one, after, like, a month. My friend and I, the same one that I shot before, were sitting in this room and suddenly some paint spilled and it created a time travel rip. We went in, and suddenly we're driving along, and we don't know what time it is, but I look...

You really are a lot like Gonzo, Gonzo14. Sounds like Jamboree. :concern: I'm about to go to bed. I'll set my alarm to static, and maybe I'll have another dream FINALLY. Wish me luck! :D

    Who were your childhood idols?

Ah, that reminds me. Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Chris Farley are mine too. Thank you, Fozzie Bear for reminding me.;)

    The RHLC!

I was being born in two months when it happened. So I suppose I was technically alive while he was. Kind of uncompleted, but still basically in existance. I found out when I was 13 and a couple months, cause I thought he was kinda cute and looked really fun from the pictures in The Works, and...

I didn't tell her because I didn't want her to know the dream version of her was such a pain. Dream MeepBorkMeep in her dreams is usually very clever. Besides...shooting her.

    Dreams

Oy, ReneeLouvier. I'm so sorry. That dream must've been awful. At least you saved the rest of the Muppets though. That's good. ;) Weird, but kick awesome dreams, Bill Bubble Guy. And I had another last night that there was this prizewinning book that I had written with my friend, and...

    Who were your childhood idols?

Robin Williams, Jim Henson, Richard Hunt, Don Knotts :( , Ellen DeGeneres, Gilda Radner (but not so much anymore), and Whoopi Goldberg were and are rully big idols of mine.

    Dreams

Well, that's a very odd dream Snowthy. Must've been terrible, though. :( Have any of you ever known anyone who's had a dream about you? My best friend had one that I beat her up so she shot me...clearly we have some issues to work out. ;)

    Dreams

I had a whose line related dream last night. Me, my friend, my mom, my dad, my mom's friend, and this random girl were driving to a bat mitzvah, but we stopped at the pool, and the random girl got out, and she was wearing combat boots, and I was about to comment, but I saw Ryan Stiles, trailed...

Yeah! Hi! I mentioned to her how the people at your forum were being really mean, cause we're both big whose line fans and I wanted to warn her, and she said that she knew you, and I did too. Kind of twilight zone worthy material. ;) Bart vs. The World...that sounds like an AWESOME Simspons...

Mine is Mario Party 2, if that counts.... The first one was all right, the third one was pretty good, but after that, eeew. I love Paper Mario too, if that counts.... I played the beginning of that game twenty times at a stupid hotel where they kept resetting my progress. But it was perdy awesome.

    substitute arm rods

I used drumsticks for my puppets, but mine have bigger holes in their hands...so maybe really thin drumsticks? Or really thick chopsticks?

Why didn't Jerry Nelson have a regular character on the Muppet Show?

Well, see, Jim didn't go really hard on Jerry, he was just a little bit sterner than usual. I kind of got the feeling Jerry wasn't very shocked, just more learning a lesson, as Jim took him in private to tell him, as opposed to Jerry making a big show. That's what I perceived it as. *shrug*

Why didn't Jerry Nelson have a regular character on the Muppet Show?

I guess they made up for it by giving him Gobo Fraggle.
