I'm reading Eats, Shoots & Leaves right now. It's making fun of punctuation misplacement. For example, if it was "Eats Shoots & Leaves" you see a panda eating shoots and leaves. However, if it was "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" you see a panda eating, shooting someone, and then leaving. It's good.
I was a little nervous about posting the hangover part too, but then I realized it wasn't actually that bad of a thing. Lots of people get hangovers. It's actually quite comical to be stuck with a hangover and have to perform a chicken.
No Richard dreams. I had woke up every four hours and...
I was surfing Wikipedia's version of Muppetfest, and found a couple of cute little Richard quotes. There were also really, really other funny quotes not regarding Richard, but you'll have to go to Wikipedia for those. Let's just say Elmo wasn't as...friendly. ;)
Anyway, here they are:
Karen...
Sorry, I just got back to this thread. Thank you to all the people who said my name was beautiful! ^-^
I can relate to ya there, D'Snowth, if you're talking about yourself. My parents freak out about names on the internet. Just not this site, hence the openess about my first name earlier. ;)
Well, I was just gonna just say rabid, but I realized that wasn't really what he was, and I couldn't think of a word for eating Muppets, so I coined cannablism to fit that category.
I had a Muppeteer dream. And R.H. is really starting to mess with me. I swear ta God, every single Muppeteer was...
Eh, I kind of gave up on the paper and wrote about other stuff instead, incorporating a little bit of Labyrinth as well. But the links and ideas were very useful. Thanks! ^^
Don't pity me, you know he's a psycho-cannibalistic-rabid-grotesque Muppet. ;)
Awesome dream, Kate. May you have many more, perhaps slightly happier ones in the near future. :)
Maybe Bean. He was awful dedicated to finding him when he ran away from the 3-D movie.
*Sighs with shame* I woke up and rememberd how Sweetums waved at me. It keeps playing in my mind like a romantic interlude. I must be insane.
It's so weird. Ever since that great dream where we were dancing on the beach at sunset (I know, what the heck?!) I always get kind of weird whenever I see him. Then when he was all live...rowr... ;)
I bet you are enjoying it, Skye. Those sound like kick-awesome dreams. Richard must really like ya! :)
I went back to Muppets 3-D, and then again after that late at night without my mom (I know, I'm such a big girl.) I sat way over on the right with everyone else in the center just so I could...
Happy Birthday Muppet Matt. ;)
And that's so not fair. I have had the single most boring dreams these past three vacation days, which is /not/ supposed to happen. Last night, all I did was pack in my dream. PACK. Then I finished, left, and I woke up.
Hmm...that's odd. I thought the Scooter in the preshow didn't sound like Scooter, so I assumed they got some voice artist to do it. I guess not. After all, Scooter was wearing the same thing as in that picture on Rick Lyon's website.
The Beaker sure sounded like him though. Either way...
I still love that poem. Really a lot.
I saw Muppets 3-D today. Twice. And I saw Sweetums, and it sounded just like Richard. I think the voice was pre-recorded, but it didn't seem like it. I tell ya, I looked twice at the guy when I saw him taking off the head backstage. Wasn't even close, but...
Yeah. Ha ha ha, Richard, but some of us are having sleep-deprivation. ;)
I'm going on vacation tomorrow (To Disney world YAY!) and I always get really awesome dreams when I go on vacation. So maybe he'll come then.
For years, my friend thought it was "Clowns in my coffee". I was about to tell her she was stupid and that made no sense, but then I realized, neither does "Clouds in my coffee".
I love that anecdote. ;) There's another thread about Working With Frank Oz, where they discuss his perfection. Some people who know him say he's real sweet.
I was just looking up at my second to last post, and I saw the word Muppetcentral bleeped out. It was merely the d-word. Like darn, but...
