No, that's okay, like I said, I've been away all day and didn't know what discussion was taking this thread off topic.
If I were to be able to nominate some forum members to become fabled "Mod Assistants" or "Right Hands", I'd nominate Beauregard and Skeeter Muppet as they pretty much embody...
Er, no... heralde and Drtooth would not make for good moderators at this forum given past incidents, which makes me wary of having to post this publically. Then again, I've been gone for most of the afternoon and night so I'm not sure what the conversation taking place here entails exactly...
Yes, an unfortunate casualty, I'm sorry to have to admit that. But there's a new thread started by Pigs Laundry called "For When You're Feeling Down" that I feel could serve as a substitute for the Smile thread, hope this helps.
Eh, her three brains often shamble in here, you just have to be logged in to see her sneak in in the middle of the night.
Obviously, she's going with Option C.
Wow, an overtime win for the Patriots, hadn't expected that. So not only did Tom Brady win his fifth Super Bowl, but he and Coach Belichick (SP?) achieved an overall 5-2 Super Bowl record on 2/5.
:batty: I love math-based references.
Like I said in the other thread, the game doesn't rully interest me this year, I was watching for the Lady Gaga halftime show. The only one of her classics that didn't get included in the set was Edge of Glory, but I'm satisfied with her performance.
Another huge batch of spambots who were deleted when they joined in the "Today's Birthdays" section. If only they could be purged from the forum's system permanently. :sigh:
If the Falcons did win Super Bowl LI, I wonder if that'd trigger some sort of huge celebration discount sales at Home Depot since they're both owned by the same person. Kind of how I always secretly rooted for the Florida Panthers to win the Stanley Cup, (which they never did), to see if...
Another useful update for the forums would be if all the known spambots could be purged from the system. If you check the "Today's Birthdays" section there's about a full score of them listed.
*Drops off a CD with the instrumental songs from the Jim Henson Musical Memorial that took place a few years ago, wrapped in bat-festooned wrapping paper as a present for Gillis.
Sorry for the belated birthday wishes maestro, spent most of yesterday cutting and gutting age-old posts. And it...
Watched the clip over at toughpigs, didn't hear :batty: involved in it though.
Unfortunately, Jimmie's not that great of an educator, he left us with too many questions.
If "Yook" starts words like Yukon and ukulele, then should it go between U and V? Or between Y and Z?
If "Yook" is a number...
Happy birthday to this wonderful forum and website, it's where I first really got involved as a forum member, learning the do's and dont's of interacting with such a crowd of fans as well as forming friendships with most of the gang that came in as new members back in 2002.
As for the...
*Ed's been reading fic in the library most of the day.
:batty: takes the purresent for his furry familiar, then sends a bat-gram TY to our next door neighbors.
Dunno, but there's a crop of the "ywm"-ending spambots that turned up today, all because the bastwages keep plugging in the same birthdate as part of their fake profiles. :grr:
Yep, a whole batch of spamturds who had their accounts banned but still show up as "forum members" within the system. Hopefully Phil can purge them in a more permanent manner. :batty:
