You know, you're right, in a way it does. Mahna Mahna and the Snowths only had a handful of appearances on TMS, very few of which were prominent, and plus, aside from earlier appearances, they barely ever even performed the song. Yet somehow they stuck.
Here's a mistake I used to make: since Frank Oz had left SST, I had always thought that Eric Jacobson took over the role. It wasn't until a year or two ago that I realized that David Rudman actually was recasted into the role.
Definitely, as far as I can tell. He opened so many of his acts with a "hiya hiya," and yet he may have only said "wocka wocka" once every few, yet for some reason the more peculiar one stuck.
Yeah, exactly. It's like, especially for Kermit, everyone always puts him to that "hi-ho" phrase, when in all honesty, I can barely even remember him saying it more than once or twice. Fozzie said his line much more frequently, but still, it wasn't to the extent that everyone makes it. He didn't...
I feel like, though, we're really losing the love for Jerry. No offense to anyone here, but it seems like more recently Jerry has been getting forgotten. I mean, Jerry Juhl Day, the day that was established to be silly on his birthday, seemed to be completely forgotten on MC to the point where I...
For some reason, I always feel like Fozzie is pinholed into his "wocka wocka" and Kemrit into his "hi ho" when in reality, neither of them said them quite as much as anyone thinks they did. Sure, they said them occasionally, but I can't really remember much of a Kermit "hi-ho" in the TMS era...
Erm...not that it matters now, but as far as I can see, Silver Sands was simply a member who was confused about the forum. Their threads were actually reasonable discussion, so they probably just thought that posting in multiple places would get better results, or couldn't decided where to post it.
Hm, very interesting question. I guess the only way we would know is to just scan through all the TMS episodes in order and see (which I should do that again one of these days).
It's really cool that you got this, GURMAN. As said above, it would be really interesting to hear if there are any extra stuff that appears in that script draft that was cut in the final product.
Well, a huge amount of hot wheels cars are made in Malaysia, so that would make some sense. Couldn't there be something of the sort that someone got their hands on a prototype version? It might explain the "school bus" label, since they might have adapted it from school bus packaging/vehicle...
I went Christmas shopping, but didn't have much success. Still, a very fun time, and a way to get me in the Christmas mood (which I've been struggling with this year).
On the contrary, all I heard about all day two days ago was how it was 12-12-12...in the paper, on the radio, out in people's conversations, people doing stupid things to celebrate the day...it was nuts. :P
I take a few days off and come back expecting to only have about 7,750, which I thought I had, but then I come back to be pleasantly surprised with my almost 7,800. :)
It'd be nice if there was a new Rowlf plush. I could really use a nice-sized Rowlf for my collection.
On the other hand, I don't know if I'd even want that Rowlf judging from the picture. Though it's hard to fairly judge the coloring in that picture, the colors look way too off, plus his...
