hey, i'm glad to see it! as a teenager myself, it's great to find new muppet merchandise more available in stores that i might actually be able to shop in! I've gotten a Fraggle Rock shirt from Hot Topic, a Miss Piggy Shirt from Gadzooks, and a Fozzie shirt from the catalog Alloy. My sis got...
I think i have a thing with eyes. Weird eyes are just scary to me. All the muppets with odd eyes are just freaky. Like Lips, i forgot about him, Miss Piggy's eyes in TMM, Cookie Monster's googly eyes. I guess this applies to people in real life too, cross-eyes just freak me out. ok, just...
This is really important to me guys, so if any of you recognize it, i need answers!
I watched SS in the late 80s and early 90s, and as i'm only 17 now, i have a quite fuzzy memory of SS stuff.
Probably about 10 years ago, i remember a Big Bird look alike. I'm not sure if it was...
Yeah, i loved my old SS books and tapes, especially "Cookie Monster and the Cookie Tree", "the Monster at the End of the Book" and the one, i can't remember what it's called, but it has a wanted sign on the front, like "the Great Cookie Thief" or something like that.
I don't know if anyone's...
Wow, that is a lot of scary stuff, too bad i got into this convo late. Like BlueAM i watched Sesame Street in the late 80s and early 90s (i'm 17) and my faded memories of the episodes just seem so magical. But yeah, so much scary stuff too. A lot of the psychedelic cartoons were really weird...
You guys are right, these lists are hard to do.
A few additions, i don't think you have them yet.
Mama Bear, Kingston Livingston III, and you missed Carlo on the human list (and of course all the regular children, but i guess that doesn't count).
Jeez! you people don't even give me a chance to name those kids! but yeah, that was a great one
the Susan Serandon has always been one of my favorites, and doing the batty bat, and when the Count sleeps over at Ernie's.
But actually my favorites are all the ones when he's at his castle...
yes, definitely Dance Myself to Sleep
but also the one where they go to the Egyptian pyramids and there are two mummies, one who looks like Bert and one like Ernie, and the Ernie look alike is like alive and starts dancing and singing with Ernie.
OK, hum...my favorite muppet movie scenes, jeez, i'm such a Muppet movie fan!
ok, TMM: probably the El Sleezo cafe scene
and yeah, all the Sweetums mini bits!
TGMC: definitely the scene in the house that Piggy walks into pretending it's hers, good British comedy too...
Yeah, now that i think about it, I love TMM Piggy, her clothes are great, i even was her for Halloween one year and made a sky blue version of the outfit she wears in the dinner scene with Kermit. However, those eyes, i just don't get it, they're like only half open!
My favorites are two Miss Piggy greats:
Never Before, Never Again
and the water one in TGMC (how does that go again? i'm blanking out! jeez!)
Also, Love Led Us Here, somehow it just seems so moving
I'd have to say either Sweetums or Pepe. However, we're not allowed to say our favorites, so i guess i can't say Sweetums. Pepe would just be awesome (or Rizzo would be cool too) but he'd probably try to hit on me!
I love Miss Piggy, but no way could i live with her! I could probably live...
Miss Piggy has definitely gone through some changes over the years, and i want you all to tell me which you like the best.
I'm not sure if i'm too fond of her new look, although the hair is cute and it's probably good that she looks fairly modern.
My favorite Miss Piggy was when she was...
I wish i could see some of the older Sesame Street ones, Cookie Monster was really scary at first! what was up with that?!
But seriously, Cookie Monster is great, kids love him.
Allistair Cookie ones are all good, i love him in that costume!
The best Cookie song is "If Moon Were...
Yeah, Grover is my favorite Sesame Street Muppet, i just wish we could still see more of him on it. Probably everything of his was funny. I definitely agree that the book "the Monster at the End of This Book" was so hilarious. All his sketches with fat blue are great. But my favorite one...
