I work with kids with multiple severe disabilities. Right now I am teaching in a classroom with 5 kids. One has cerebral palsy, one is severely autistic, one was premature, one has a disorder that doesn't allow him to make cholesterol, and one has a had seizure disorder. It is the BEST job EVER...

I actually think an autistic character would be really interesting... but it would be nearly impossible considering all the different types of autism.
