Very interesting...where is that drawing from, exactly? And I wonder, was the second story of dressing rooms an abandoned concept or one that was to be implied in the show? I've often noticed characters seem to move the other way (right), implying that the backstage extended further off screen...
Janice's legs break off really easily, I have too broken ones. You don't necessarily need to give it to a kid or dog to break them, simply trying to display them or even too roughly getting them out of the packaging make them break.
While on the subject of EM legs, Floyd's legs break off very...
I'm half hesitant to post here just because threads like this in the past has received criticism from some members for reasons I do not understand, but...
I know that Noel MacNeal has posted using the name NMac, and the late Jerry Nelson posted as Twiddlebug.
@ the Gonzo poem: I like it a lot, pretty nice depiction of Gonzo there. Only criticism that I might have is that some lines' syllable numbers make them not read quite as well.
And the fact that you have Gonzo as an alien, which though proved true by MFS, is something I like to blot out. :P...
I dunno if anyone's ever created a thread about this (there probably has been), but I thought it might be nice to talk about the fragile aspects of some figures and how easily some seem to break. Figured this might be a nice reference for people to choose which figures might be the most durable...
Ah, I see now. It fits perfectly. For some reason I never figured that out, I think I knew about the floor indentation there, but I never knew that the hook fit into a slot on the wall. And to think that all this time I've just had the pillar lying in the backstage as I tried to figure out where...
I agree about Bert, that eyebrow lifting he does is so awesome to convey an emotion of surprise and such. One of the things I love about a Bert and Ernie sketch.
Now Red is a Muppet that I cannot believe I forgot! Her expressions, though somewhat limited, are just so awesome. The way Karen could...
Wow, cool dream, Auberoun. I'd love to have these dreams where I meet someone within the Muppet company and talk to them, yet it's only happened on one occasion when I talked to Kevin Clash.
Yeah, Oscar and even characters like Cookie or Herry I would imagine kids are commonly afraid of. Grover actually is one of the characters I would least think, considering he's a lot more cuter and tamer-looking than most others.
Now I could really understand kids being afraid of the Big Bird...
While we're on the subject of different backstage parts, did anyone else get this random green pillar separate from everything else? I just have this very tall and random pillar that I haven't figured out where it is supposed to go or what it is supposed to be for.
Woah, that's really strange...
I was more referring to fun interactive toys produced in the past couple of years. But still a very interesting story. :)
I've never really thought about it until now, but I wonder how many kids are afraid of Oscar while growing up? It seems that a lot of kids like him, but I wonder how many...
Yeah, you're right...for some reason I was thinking there were three of both, when there was really only three of Lips and also Johnny Fiama (which I'm pretty sure do not run at high prices).
True, Rowlf does seem to be somewhat expensive, at least more so than some figures of that series range.
Oops, actually I think you are right. For some reason I was stuck on the mindset that there is the regular light brown one, the dark red one, and a silver one, but now that I think about it, I think there were only two.
I didn't know that series 3 had a low production run, that could be a...
Rather than explaining the food falling from the sky, I'd have rather seen something that actually is relevant to the book more. Create a few main characters (maybe a family) living in Chewandswallow and showcase at first their everyday lives, and then move on to the conflict of the story, the...
I'm pretty sure that is one of the reasons...I think that less Lips made than other figures. I'm pretty sure that all of series 9 had smaller production numbers, though not sure if Lips had even less?
Though the interesting thing I always find is that the other EM musician with 3 variants...
Yes! I always don't care for how Elmo seems to be the only one that ever really gets fun toys that are bigger than 12". I'd like to see some other characters with some quality toys like this instead, characters like Grover or even Big Bird.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Cloudy books, and things already seemed to get butchered enough the first time through. I'd much rather think that there's this fantastical town where food falls from the sky rather than know that it happened as a result of some scientist. The first movie took away a...
