Hey all,
There is one very strange Sesame Street clip that I recall that haunts me to this day. I was wondering if anyone else can help me remember more about it, since I doubt anyone has it on tape.
It was a live action clip from the mid 70's featuring Northern Calloway, dressed in swami...
Let's not forget the clip of Kermit's first season lecture on hair. The Beautiful Day monster shows up and tries to brush Kermit. However, as Kermit points out multiple times throughout the sketch, "Frogs don't have hair!". This clip is also infamous for the only known time that the word...
Hey all,
I found the DVD on Sept 16th at Suncoast Motion Picture Co. in a mall outside of Chicago, IL. They had at least two copies. The downside to finally finding it in a store was the "mall price" of $14.99. I gladly bought it though. Very cool dvd! Don't miss it!

My favorite has always been the first season segment where Kermit discusses hair. The dialog is fantastic. "You can brush it with a brush, or you can comb it with a comb." coupled with his constant reminder that "Frogs don't have hair" always cracks me up. Not to mention the part where Kermit...
Thanks for the descriptions Mikealan! I don't think I've ever seen #5 before. Also, I remember on #11, the bald guy that appears in a few of the other Painter segments comes along and squeegees away the number from the window. Shortly thereafter, the painter is mistakenly pulled into the...
Hey,
I was wondering about the segments with Paul Benedict as the number painter. I know there were segments from numbers as low as 3 up to at least 11. Can anyone here briefly describe what happens in each numbered segment? I'm trying to recall them all. Thanks!

Hey!
Does anyone remember a SS Muppet sketch from the 70's where three criminal type anything Muppets are at their hideout. Two of them leave and tell the third (nervous looking) one not to open the door unless he hears the secret knock. I think it was 3 knocks. Anyhow, while they're gone...
It was from the mid 70's. It features the same muppet (Mahna-Mahna/Bip Bipodotta) from the "Fat Cat Scat" bit. Same background as "Fat Cat" as well. This one has him running around in the foreground and background singing "Some of us are here" as he and a few familiar Muppets run across the...
I have a 45 minute compilation that I made of a bunch of older clips that I happened to tape over the years from tv, as well as a tape I recently discovered of 3 1/2 full shows from 1987 (non unpaved) with a bunch of cool stuff on them.
I'd be willing to trade this stuff for the Mahna...
I've been on a mission to find the "Some of Us are Here" segment for years. I ran across a few tape traders that had it, but was never able to procure a copy. That's gotta be my favorite bit ever on Sesame Street. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. I also remember seeing Grover...
I still have the Fisher Price Movie that you're referring to. However, the clip you remember is actually not the one that MikeAlan was referring to. The one he mentioned was aired on Unpaved. The one on the Fisher Price toy film is similar, but different. When this particular one aired on...
