Ownership of the Classic Muppets(The Muppet Show muppets)recently went to Disney.

Kermit and all kinds of whatnot muppets commonly appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show throughout the 1960s. :)

The first muppets I ever saw,were two hand puppet versions of Cookie Monster and Oscar The Grouch,which were among the toys at a nursery school I went to in the early 1970s.My parents later bought me my own copies of the same two puppets. :p :(

I recommend the book"Jim Henson/The Works",a large fully illustrated hardcover book that tells everything you want to know about the muppets.I ordered myself a copy of this book through Amazon.ca.It is a precious gem and a must have for any muppet fan. :) :p :(
