Beside the fact that both were originally performed by Frank Oz,it seems that Fozzie and Grover have quite a few notable things in common.
1.Simular personalities.Even though Grover has a higher voice than Fozzie,they both talk the same way with very simular expression.

When Mr.Hooper died in the early 1980s,there was a special SS episode that dealt with his death.
I know that David died in later years.Was his death acknowledged on the show?
I say definetly Follow That Bird.
Better scenery.
More of the SS characters were involved in the story.(Gordon and Maria were the only two SS humans involved in The Adventures of Elmo In Grouchland's storyline.)
