Does it freeze and stay frozen, or does it freeze up and then keep going? If it's the latter, it's probably just a dvd layer-change. They're on most dvd releases, but some hide them better than others. Some players handle them better than others as well.
This is great news--I've been waiting to buy some of those movies, because I only have them on VHS and I was hoping for a big splashy release from Disney. Yay! :)
This does sound like Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, from the 70s, but it was Big Bird who got "lost" looking for the truth about Santa Claus (because of Oscar taunting him), and everybody went out looking for him.
Not to be nitpicky... Oh what the heck, I can't help myself. Admiral McCoy shows up in the original TNG pilot, and Spock had a two-parter. Then Kirk showed up in Generations coexisting with Picard for a little while, though then he died. So that's questionable. But definitely Scotty, McCoy...
There's a new episode up--Stealth, and The Island. Johnny Fiama's in it, and make sure you click on the "bonus clip" button for some fun with Pepe.
:boo:
I personally loved how weird an unlikeable Depp's Wonka was. It made me like him all the more, strangely. I think the ending makes up for it a little (which I won't spoil here for those who haven't seen it), in a sort of "Grinch"-like way.
I absolutely loved it, and I just rewatched the original today and loved it all over again. To me, they are two very different takes on the same source--companion pieces. The kid in me really loves the original, but I was absolutely delighted with the creepiness and slightly twisted new film...
What I like about it here is that it's such a big community, with so many different kinds of people. I think if you poke around enough, and stick around, you're bound to find a group you fit in with here. I think most people here try to be friendly and accepting...
Here are some Fraggles...
Thanks for the rest of the story, and the neat tidbit about Richard Hunt. I really didn't know that he worked his way up from being Snuffleupagus's hind quarters. Do you know what he meant be being more aggressive? Does that mean that he had to go after bigger parts, or that he had to stand...
Oh, I certainly do realize the importance, and nothing would make me happier than to see it happen the right way. If they can do it, all the better. But if they can't reach an appropriate agreement, I'd rather see them go ahead and celebrate Kermit than just ignore the milestone. It's...
As important as Sesame Street is to the history of Kermit the Frog, and as much as I'd love see a tribute with all of those characters, I think it's better to be realistic and accept the possibility that it won't happen that way. If it does, great! If not, it's better not to talk oneself out...
