Wait Grail,
Aren't those two "great points" mutually exclusive?
Jivepuppet says we should include everyone, erasing all the lines and rules and codes and accept whoever and whatever.
Cantus' ghost says that we shouldn't accept Laura Bush, but maybe more broadly that we shouldn't...
Maybe I need a little clarification from that remark.
Are you saying I should quit buying Muppet videos, or that free speech is only limited to those who agree with you?
Could I as easily say, "Maybe some people are better off watching Crank Yankers????"
I think what gives Merton that extra edge is the simple costume. I would like to see a profile of him. It's kind of hard to tell how big his nose is, whether it's beak-y or not.
I also like what you did with Norton's webbing under his arms. It inspires ideas about flying squirrels or sugar...
But it's good parents who stand up when anti-family programming is marketed as family entertainment. Not just those who govern their kids television. Both are important.
We can't take the attitude of "If you don't like crime in the streets, stay in the house." That's laissez-faire. I...
Thanks for replying,
Do the human arms begin at the puppet's elbows then?
Should the sleeve be stuffed where there is no arm? I guess I could make it without stuffing and add if needed, though.

You're so funny. Even though I don't totally follow what you're doing, I do admire your persistent singular passion about producing your game. Even if nobody is responding to your thread, I thought I'd just say, "Hey, I noticed."
It just seems like a mixed metaphor to me, Telly...
Fluff,
Do you perform in any way shape or form? Or do you just make puppets. You do a really great job and I hope you have the outlet to bring those characters to life.
Okay after reading Skeeter Muppet's post, I decided to name my termite Norval, and the ostrich will be named "Eulalia."
Only most of the time, Norval will say it like "Euuulaaaliaaaah!" while hanging for dear life.
But I haven't made any puppets in a long time. And I was never very good...
I'm thinking of a termite muppet, maybe about the same size as a rat, since perspective would make it too small. It would have a voracious appetite but not so much that one couldn't negotiate to save their furniture.
And then, the termite would wear a pith helmet and ride on the back of a...
Why are cowboys worse than pirates? I don't like westerns unless they're funny, so I got no ax to grind. But if you think about it, the pirates career goal was to pillage and rob and kill. Cowboys raised cattle as a career (in the strictest form of the word) and to generalize them all into...
Okay muppet fans. I voted a day or two ago and I want to see how the vote is coming, but I see no link to just see the results. Can someone cue me in on how to see that? A link would even be cool.
I think the Muppet figures deserve to be in the top ten. Even if you're not an action figure...
Sorry Jackie, but comparing myself to anything from Rainbow Brite would really take a bite out of my self-respect, so I'm going to turn this one down.
Now if it were My Pretty Pony... :D
For whatever reason, Monsters Inc is so superior.
1) Original story line. What a fantastic idea. Shrek reminded me of "Into the Woods" concepts mixed with those Stinky Cheese Man books.
2) Eddie Murphy does not belong in family entertainment. All those double entendres that he uses...
That story can't really be true. Why would they have a guy in a bunny costume when they're reporting about a bomb. That would be so tasteless. Luke you're pulling my leg.. er rabbit's foot.

Got my vote it for all muppet figures. Muppet Labs is now tied for 10th place. I wouldn't even want that other stuff in my house. Well, the WOS stuff is kinda neat.
My brother and I would like to make a human hand puppet ala Swedish Chef but I'm not exactly how to do that. Has anyone done such a thing and could clue me in on a pattern or methodology?
Pirate movies are the best. And I'm not sure why they fascinate me so much. I even have my own pirate costume.
My favorite pirates, the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything are in their first big feature. Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie starting in October. This is a really big deal for me and my...
