You know, I wonder if that's actually true . . . Don't you think you probably would watch if ALL of them were on at the same time? Think of the potential for chaos! Man, they'd bring down the whole show! It would be like an AI-haters dream come true. The whole theater would come crashing...
The show is an icon of educational television, and is still doing its job after almost 40 years. I don't think it should ever be cancelled. It may change in format or in cast, but Sesame Street remains important to young children around the world.
Like everyone else here, and everywhere, I offer my deepest condolences to the Virginia Tech community, especially the families and close friends of the victims.
I would also like to take a moment to express my profound sympathy for the family of the young man who perpetrated this terrible...
I think you'll like the fourth season two--they really started doing something with the prequel concept and continuity.
Say, where was the Quantum Leap reference in the novel that you mentioned? I'm afraid I missed it.
I really did like Enterprise, especially that final year. If it had kept going like that for another couple of years, it would have been great!
The finale, though, I don't know. I thought the death was really ham-handed an unnecessary. It made me really angry, actually, but the book...
Well, they did this last year too. They always do Ford "videos," and Kermit was promoting the Ford Escape hybrid last year. I was surprised to see him again this year, but glad nonetheless.
:)
Now, if only they could get him on as a mentor or guest judge!
This seems really interesting to me--of course, I'm a little biased, since :p and :( were always two of my absolute favorites. I used to make people call me "Ernie" sometimes. It's nice to see them trying a new format, a new medium, even though it won't feel quite right without the puppets...
I read that all of the major players--voice actors, writers, producers, etc.--jumped right back on board. That's great--those shows really are endlessly rewatchable, so I'm looking forward to adding a slew of new episodes to the rotation. Now that's must see TV!
:)
Oh yeah, Futurama. One of the best shows ever ever. I'm THRILLED that it's coming back, and I will be watching every episode without fail. Brilliant comedy writing.
For reruns--Simpsons if I catch it, Trek whenever the spirit moves me (which is often).
For dvds--plenty. Recently Buffy, Angel, Quantum Leap, Simpsons, Fraggle Rock, and Freaks and Geeks.
New shows--Simpsons, Family Guy, Battlestar Galactica, American Idol, Smallville, LOST, The Office...
I finally finished the book tonight. Good stuff! I really liked how it turned out, and I have no problem considering it as "official." I mean, after all, it's a story in a fictional universe just as the original episode was. It doesn't really matter to me which "counts," and the authors did...
We've been so busy with work and school here, but I really hope I get to see this soon. I've been out of the loop on movies, but I owe the Turtles my support!
