    Anybody visit their old schools?

Another sign of changing times: as soon as you walk into the building, you are confronted by a secretary in a booth who asks you who you are and what your business is. You are then given a pass. This is the only entrance to the school. When I was there, there were so many side doors to...

    Anybody visit their old schools?

About two years after I graduated from high school, one of the walls in the history wing collapsed. Thankfully, it was during summer vacation, so there were no students or faculty. Apparently the wall that collapsed was a "temporary" wall...which was put up in 1970! I guess the construction...

Muppets Take Manhattan Playing in NYC

I saw MTM in its original run. The Muppet Movie was the first-ever film I saw in a theatre. For some reason, I didn't see The Great Muppet Caper until it premiered on HBO. But I tell ya: there's nothing like seeing the Muppets on a big screen!:)

You are correct, sir! Rocket Attack USA (from the second season) is the one with the Civil Defense Quiz Bowl (brought to you by the grace of God and chocolatey Cocoa Bombs) and the Charlie McCarthy hearings. It was also the first ep. to feature a "stinger" after the end credits. Joel's...

You may be an 80's child if...

Family Guy did a funny parody of Back to the Future last night, in which Peter goes back to the 80s and tries to get Lois to fall in love with him instead of Quagmire. There was also a cameo from Roger the alien of American Dad.

    Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island

I only watch Cartoon Network for Adult Swim. When I want to watch classic, vintage uncut Looney Tunes, I'll pull out my DVDs. So many classic Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies that aired intact when I was a kid are now sadly chopped up, or not shown on TV at all. It's a shame, really. And...

    Spammers at MC...

I get those spams too, cherrypotion. They get sent directly to my bulk mail, but still...it's annoying finding 12 or more of the same thing, or variations on the product. And I certainly don't frequent any "adult" websites, so I think it's like Beakerfan said. Just randomized telemarketing stuff.
