    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

I'm pretty sure it was Scott. It was someone directly related to the Stooges who wanted to revive them with new actors.

Pretty gloomy out today. Looks like more rain soon.

    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

I can't believe this, but there was some talk not too long ago about a "new Three Stooges" series! Now THAT'S scraping the bottom of the barrel. No one--but no one--could ever replace Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp and (okay) Joe. I haven't seen much of Curly Joe's work, but I'm sure even HE is...

D'oh!:) Peter: Hey, is the Count a vampire? Brian: What's that? Peter: Well, he's got those big fangs. Have they ever shown him doing somebody in, and then feeding on him? Brian: You're--you're asking me if they've ever done a Sesame Street in which the Count kills somebody, and...

Okay, Pip... My avvy is Chevy Chase. The pic comes from when he was a cast member on Saturday Night Live. Winslow Leach isn't really a famous American guy, lol! He's the main character in Brian De Palma's rock comedy/horror/musical Phantom of the Paradise (1974). De Palma is my favorite...

Anyone Seen "The Simpons Movie" yet?

**SPOILER** The opening was great, with Homer chiding us "losers" for spending money on something we could see at home for free. The theater went wild! The Green Day/Titanic bit was another classic, with Billie Joe reading the "lyrics" to the Simpsons theme off a Telepromptor, then the...

Anyone Seen "The Simpons Movie" yet?

Cool! It hits DVD on August 14 in a 2-disc SE loaded with extras. Great that it's outrageously incoherent and lives up to the show. Interestingly, I don't think it even played at the multiplex I saw The Producers at. Weird. Good to know it's still playing in your area.:D

    What's the REAL second rule?

The REAL second rule: DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB! Er...wrong topic... Personally, I've always heard of the five-second rule. Unless the food is round-shaped, falls on the floor, rolls across the room, collects a bunch of floor-grit and dust, and ends up in the corner. Then no. I...

The Simpsons follow in the Flintstones footsteps

The Flintstones did actually have one full-length, animated movie released in theatres. The Man Called Flintstone (1966) was released after the series had ceased production. It was co-directed and co-written by Hanna/Barbera, and was a spoof of the then-current spy craze...

    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

Well, at least the Chipmunks are wearing their trademark sweaters (at least in the teaser), and sound right.

    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

Yep. This was the first trailer they showed before the Simpsons. The poop-eating turned me right off this one.

I thought Cletus's scene with the possum was great. "I cain't do it!" BTW Drtooth, how was the Aqua Teen movie? I'm a fan of the series. Does it live up to the show?

Anyone Seen "The Simpons Movie" yet?

The whole Bart skateboarding sequence was probably the highlight for me. Ralph's line was jaw-droppingly hilarious! How 'bout Comic Book Guy's "final" thoughts on how he spent his life? And possibly the greatest D'oh! ever uttered by Homer (even though it wasn't technically "d'oh!", but...
