What's in a name?
I ask this question here since it kind of fits the theme of Sunshineboz's original topic. What's the most important thing to you when creating a fan-Muppet (character; I say character because I personally see Skeeter as a member of the Muppet family even though she only...
Oh, dear! Wrong kinda question to ask me; we might be here a little while...
One of the first original ideas I had was spawned by Disney's latest movie "Lilo and Stitch." A Hawaiian Muppet (along the lines of Janice or Scooter) named Kamea (meaning "the one and only"). She loves to...
Now that I actually HAVE an item...(lol!)
Currently my collection is very, very small. But right now my prized item is the 1970s Play-School Scooter doll that I won off of e-bay.
Okay, MuppetDanny, you've got to scan that one. I'm curious to see what Waldorf, Statler and Sweetums'...
I only know three...kinda...
Well I know that in the first season of TMS, Gonzo's eyelids didn't move so he always had this eternally sad look to him. Between seasons Dave Goelz worked on creating a new Gonzo puppet with the moving eyelids. But other than that I can't think of any other...
My vote's on missing link of some sort. Not quite human, but human enough to emulate (and understand) emotions, tell right from wrong, and be a darn good drummer to boot ;)
As for Scooter, there is that ad-libbed exchange between Kermit and Scooter backstage at TMS (never aired...
Just a little one, but thought I'd share it for all those who aren't watching.
The Emmys did their usual tribute to those people involved in the television industry who had passed on over the past year. The last person they paid tribute to was, approptriately, Milton Berle. They showed...
Not a vote, but a rebuttal...
 Boober is NOT dumb. I repeat, not. Not, not not. He is just very cautious and pessimistic. He actually likes doing work like laundry or cooking. This makes him different from the other normally happy-go-lucky Fraggles, but it does NOT make him dumb...
I've finally gone and done it. But it seemed only fair, after all.
I present to you, for your evaluation, 15 Seconds!, a fansite dedicated to that loveable go-fer Scooter. It's not very much, but I hope to add to it over time. Feedback is welcome...
Re: Re: Seen it three times!
"Well, ain't that a kick in the butt?" Nice to see I'm not the only fan of Sam and Al here!
*gets an idea* Oh, no! Scott Bakula on TMS, or else Sam leaping into either one of the Muppets or else whoever the guest star is supposed to be!
-Kim
Ah, that explains it! It makes sense; sounds like programming all those penguins, the Chef, and then Statler, Waldorf and Bean in the balcony would be a royal pain in the you-know-where.
-Kim
Scooter, of course. I feel we're in similar roles: he pretty much stands or sits back and watches the insanity unfold at TMS, while I sit back and watch the insanity unfold when I'm out with my friends or chatting with my on-line pals. We both know what it's like to be those small islands of...
Re: photo
If I'm able. The best thing I'd be able to do is buy a one time use only camera, take the picture and then use my roommate's scanner. Too bad her webcam isn't working.
