No, they said "Ow!" in different musical tones, not "yowp." And when they WEREN'T being whacked by Marvin with mallets, they could speak perfect English ("Is he gone?").
-Kim
I don't recall any aliens that said "Yowp." I do know that on SS there were aliens that only said "Yip." (yipyipyipyipyipyipyipyip). There were, appropriately, called the Yipyips.
I'll bet anything the aliens who said "Yowp" probably came from Koozebane. Where else did the aliens on TMS...
*laughs* All RIGHT! The PERFECT song for Janice (or one of many perfect songs;))
Nice job, Matt. What made you decide on Lenny Kravitz for this outline?
-Kim
I don't remember Scooter playing any guitar in TMS. Just the tambourine; they already had Janice on lead guitar and Floyd on bass, so they wouldn't have needed him. After all, he wasn't a part of the band per se in that movie; just their road manager.
-Kim
I think I remember that! Now if only they'd bring the Underdog BALLOON back! There are still folks that remember him and are fans of his and...I'll shut up now.
-Kim
Gonzo: "Don't worry, I'll catch you."
Rizzo: *steeling himself* "God save my little broken body. Aiiieee!" *he jumps, Gonzo runs forward to catch him, Rizzo lands behind Gonzo*
Gonzo: Hm. Missed.
Rizzo: *sighs* "Oh, wait a minute. I forgot my jelly beans." *goes over to the fence, examines...
...but I felt I'd be remiss as a Muppet fan if I saw this and didn't show it to anyone.
(Hopefully) everyone knows that Fanfiction.Net hosts a variety of fanfiction. Well, at FFN there is a grand total of four fics in the Muppets Tonight category, although none of them really pertain to MT...
Re: Reply
I think that's the one. It's got Senor Wences and Lola Falana on it, in case you're wondering.
Now, onto the episode. Another great piece of art, Matt.
I just had to say this...the go-fer is a "jump" ahead of the frog? *snickers* Did you pun that on purpose, Matt...
Actually, Floyd already did that one (partially) during the Linda Carter episode.
And here's one I can't believe no one's suggested yet...
"I've Got You, Babe" - Sonny & Cher - Floyd and Janice (who else? I mean, come on!)
-Kim
Well that would require:
1) having a DVD player in my room to watch the DVD
and
2) having transportation to Shop-Ko to buy the DVD or VHS of the show other than my 2 feet.
But at least they left in some of the best parts, like Lucy and Violet using the back of Charlie Brown's...
Darn editors! They added a part (showing the kids hitting more than one house, and thus Charlie Brown getting more than one rock), but they cut out the part during the Halloween party where Schroeder plays piano and Snoopy either dances or cries (depending on what song Schroeder played)...
That's a nice gesture, Waldorf. On the same note, I'd also like to extend my condolances to the family of British actor Richard Harris. Harris, who recently portrayed wizard Albus Dumbledore in the two Harry Potter movies, passed away today of complications due to Hodgkin's disease.
-Kim
Oh! I can't believe I forgot these!
Muppet Newsflash during the Julie Andrews episode: "A plane loaded with sports equipment was forced to jettison some of its cargo. Among the items tossed out were 10,000 Ping-Pong balls-" the anchorman gets ping-pong balls rained on him "-and one bowling...
A lot of my favorite funny moments have already been listed (many by TravellingMatt :)). But there are a few others I'd like to mention. It's all in the diaologue...
From the Julie Andrews ep... Kermit and Scooter discover a new addition backstage...
Kermit: Scooter, go find out who that...
Ohhh! She's so cute! Congratulations, Dirth! I can't really tell from the picture; what color are her eyes?
Congrats to both you and your wife, and best wishes for good health for your daughter, a quick recovery for your wife and a good nights' sleep for all three of you as often as...
