Yeah. I never put too much trust into that site. It depends a lot on regular people sending in the information instead of researching to see if the credits are real or not, which leads to the wrong actor being credited for a role, or in some cases shows that were completely made up (somewhere...
Re: dont be crule!!
If you thought what I said was "harsh," then you must be pretty thin-skinned. I've seen and been the recipient of flames that were much worse than what I told you. I was being polite when I told you about the all-caps thing; the least you could have done was extended...
Okay, first off it's not necessary for you to post messages in all caps. No one likes to be shouted at, not to mention looking at messages typed in all caps is hard on the eyes.
Secondly, there are just too many moments that I like for me to choose one as my favorite. I'll just say one...
I post on a few other message boards, but this is the only one where I go by the name Skeeter Muppet. All the other boards I post at I post under my usual internet name Lady Iapetus.

Why, the Hipocrytic Oaf, of course. ;)
(Actually, I don't know if he was a Muppet from JHH or not. I always thought he was specially constructed for that particular show)

Yes! FoxTrot and Zits rule! My family loves Zits especially since my brother is around the same age as the main character of the strip, and sometimes some of the things that happen in the strip are so true for our family that we have to cut the strip out of the paper and stick it on the...

Try the Rita Moreno ep, if you have it. That's got the very first VH sketch in it with Richard doing Piggy and Erin voicing Janice, as well as in an At the Dance spot and some backstage spots. In fact, the only time Frank Oz does Piggy is during the "conversation panel" sketch...
Ditto that. I've seen some messages at other boards with threads like this that make me think, "Are these people trying to be disrespectful to his memory on purpose?" I always like coming back to this thread to read the nice stuff, and I'm sure I'll enjoy reading the tributes once they're up...
Actually, sometimes the main puppeteer did the head/mouth of the character as well as the left arm. The second puppeteer did the right arm of the character. A good picture of this can be seen at, of all places, Mar's Muppet Links. The header for the Performers section has a picture of Richard...
What electricmayhem said. I watched the end of Nightline tonight, and they had a segment on remembering Mr. Rogers. It was basically an interview with him done sometime before or just after the last new episode of the show was filmed. At the end of the interview the reporter asked if Mr...
Today I lost another piece of my childhood; in fact, we all did.
Growing up, I enjoyed both Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood equally. Even though now I remember very little about the older episodes of either show (thanks to my swiss cheesed memory), the lessons I learned...
The Time-Life TMS volumes are slowly starting to make their way onto store shelves now (March 13 or 14 is when the Belefonte/Rondstadt/(someone else who I can't remember) volume comes out, and the Elton John/Julie Andrews/Gene Kelly and Star Wars/Paul Simon/Raquel Welch volumes are already out...
