Very nice review, DW! Definately planning on adding that DVD to my collection in the future (not that I wasn't planning on it anyway...digressing).
I was surprised when it was mentioned in the review just how the Muppets had come to acquire the theatre from J.P. Grosse. When Scooter told...
Off-topic, I am officially jealous of your icon :p
On-topic, yeah I heard. I turned on the TV this morning before church and was flipping channels when I came across it on MSNBC. It didn't really register at first, and then I was like, "They got him? Holy cow, they got him!" I was kind of...
Ooh, I love Christmas music! I could listen to it all year 'round (in fact, I do!) But of course, I have some songs that I favor above others.
First and foremost is "When the River Meets the Sea." I heard this one before I heard my second favorite, and I think that it is such a beautiful...
More gems from MCC...
In the opening chords of "It Feels Like Christmas," when the baby band is singing the "la-la-la" part, one baby winds up backhanding another in the face, making the baby's face squinch up the way Statler's or Waldorf's would when they'd hit each other.
(Gonzo and Rizzo...
There was no female lizard character in the old cartoon. There was a lizard character, but it was a guy. His name was Mondo Gecko. The only female lizard character I can think of that you may be thinking of is Mona Lisa, who was a fan-created character.

What, you can't wait for me to give you the list of what I've got? I have at least four of those. E-mail me or wait for me to get on AIM later, okay?

Got s'more!
Zoot Suit Riot: Sung/performed by the Muppet Swing Band. Members would include Zoot on sax, Lips on trumpet, Rowlf on piano, Animal on drums and Floyd on upright bass.
You Can Close Your Eyes (James Taylor): Sung by Kermit, possibly to Robin.
A Bird That Whistles...
Very nice. You've got real talent there, Daniel. Are you going to do newer versions of the rest of the babies, or baby versions of other Muppet characters, or just stick with those four?
-Kim
My guess is that he went the way of Bean Bunny when Steve took over Kermit and Beaker, and Rizzo became a mainstream character. And before then, there wasn't much call for Lips and the rest of the Mayhem in JHH.

Cool!
I hope they don't put Piggy and Kermit in one of the top corner squares. The last time they did that Piggy karate-chopped Kermit right out of the square!
-Kim
Hm. I'd like to trade, but unfortunately the only Fraggle Rock episodes I have are in .avi format (pretty sure that they came off of Disney). You probably want them on tape rather than burned onto a CD, right?
-Kim
Well, I watched the special last night (it was VERY good, although I was a bit peeved that they gave special notice that three of the cast members from M*A*S*H were there but they didn't even get to go up on stage and say anything). And the only thing I saw that was Muppet-related was a clip of...
No doubt about it, 100%, hands down, living or dead, my favorite Muppeteer is Richard Hunt. No matter who is performing, be it Scooter, Statler, Sweetums, Junior Gorg or the Wild Impresario to name a few, you can tell that he is having a heckuva lot of fun doing it. In pretty much every...
Their powers are natural. The X-Men, along with the Brotherhood, the Acolytes, the Morlocks and other mutants in that universe, all have an active X-gene that gives them their powers. In that universe all humans have the X-gene; it's just that in most its dormant. In the case of the...
