Just as it seems odd to me that you would cast Miss Piggy and Kermit, two Muppet characters who are adults, as Wendy Darling and Peter Pan who are both children. Just because they're the main characters of TMS or the Muppet movies doesn't mean that they're always the best characters to fit into...
I actually disagree; a lot of the major characters of the story of Peter Pan are children, so why would you cast adult Muppets in those parts?
I also thought up a Peter Pan cast list, and here are the results of that:
THE MUPPETS DO “PETER PAN”
Peter Pan: Gobo

Brilliant, Dave. Just brilliant. I loved Fozzie and Gonzo's sketch going the way of "The Comedian's a Bear" (i.e. totally falling apart). Obiviously this takes place after that episode, as Kermit is understandably wary of doing another sketch with Fozzie. My favorite part was "At the Dance"...
I don't know if I remember that episode in particular. I do remember the Snow White episode, where the group put on a production of Snow White and Skeeter wound up playing Snow while Piggy was stuck playing the Wicked Queen. And Piggy was jealous because that meant Skeeter would be kissed by...
1) Just One Person, both cover versions (Bernadette Peters ep and Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson)
2) 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover ("Hey, are you sure it isn't '50 Ways to Love Your Leaver'?" "Positive." "Oh. Sorry, Paul!")
3) Babyface (it's Muppet chickens clucking it! It's genius!)
4) Minuet...
Sounds like the Mummenshanz episode of TMS. Mummenshanz was (is?) a relatively famous mime troupe. It was the last episode of season 1, so it'll be in that box set when it comes out.

If people want to be sad or "depressed" about the passing of someone like Thurl Ravenscroft, then they have the right to be. Everyone reacts to things like this in their own way.
That said, making jokes about the way someone died is extremely crass and disrespectful to the memory of the...

Well you have to admit, HPDJ isn't really helping his image (or the image of other younger posters here) by appearing to be a bit, well...slower on the uptake about some things, if you catch my drift.
I'm not condoning the actions of Kimp the Shrimp or anyone else. It's just...credibility on...
Penn and Teller on the Muppet Show...oh my dear Lord...
I, for one, would like to see Jai Rodriguez on the new Muppet Show. Aside from being the "culture vulture" on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Jai is an amazing Broadway performer (he was Angel in 'RENT', for example). Also add to that...
It wouldn't make sense to have a new Muppet Show and not have celebrities that are popular in the here-and-now. And, for better or worse dependant upon your point of view, that includes guests like Jennifer Lopez.
