Hey, the word beer is funny. Like..poop, or Massachussets :}
By the way Janice & Mokey's man, if you're ever here in Colorado we'll hang out, go skiiing, eat many many tacos, and watch Fraggle Rock. ( And perhaps some Dinosaurs, since it's coming out in 6 days :} Actually, we have a small group...
They named their kid Mokey? That's WONDERFUL!
My real name is an actual Fraggle name. It's Matt. My screen name is actually accurate. I used to HATE my name until I discovered Fraggle Rock and found out one of the main Fraggle characters shared my name. Now I couldn't be happier!
Who's gonna...
Sorry. I missed the season 2 discussion so it may have already been discussed. But wouldn't you LOVE to see the original cast together, in character, commenting on the Fraggle Season two episodes? I think it would be the most hilarious thing ( in the universe! As Red would say )
Think of it...
Hey Janice N Mokey's man... you make a good point. And yeah, I have the POOHBAH episode. It's one of my favorites because Mokey loses her cool several times. As she does in "A Cave of one's own" She got furious in that episode, and it was really fun to see.
Your "Mokey Mondays" rule. I should...
I can't figure it out...
Mokey is such a charming, introspective, and likeable character, and was so well performed by Kathy Mullen, that I have a hard time understanding why she ( they ) seem to be the least mentioned, and least merchandised character among the Fraggle Five.
That said, I...
If Jerry Nelson is unable to perform Gobo, Henson should consider Richard Steven Horvitz, the voice of the outstanding Nickelodeon cartoon, Invader Zim. He has that natural, high, lightly gruff voice that matches Jerry's delivery. If you've seen the show, you'll know who I'm talking about. I...
And Fozzie, I agree with you. The more puppets the better, or at the very least, in the case of the Fraggle Movie, if there is to be CG, I hope the original cast has something to do with the execution of it. Be it the new performance capture software, or whatever. Computers are just a tool. As a...
Wow Buck-Beaver, I didn't think my Fraggle model would really impress anyone. Thanks for the compliment.
As for your offer, I suppose it is possible to contribute to your project somehow. I really wish I was in a more flexible position to do that.
I have been out of animation work for almost...
Thanks Zelda!
The problem with cg, is that it's overused a lot. I mean, sure it might be nice to see magic coming out of Cantus' pipe, but why? We love Cantus as he was. And he was all about music, which you hear, not see.
That said, I think cg COULD be used wisely in full body shots, where...
To answer the first question, I used MAYA, the entertainment industry's standard in computer animation software.
To answer the second question no, I'm not planning to animate her. In fact, I'm thinking of abandoning computer animation. There are so many steps to getting something done, as an...
