I haven't seen the episode either, but I know that in that episode, Big Bird wanted Snuffy to go to hawaii with the others, but the adults refused pay for an airplane ticket for snuffy because they thought that he was imaginary, so Big Bird managed to have Mr. Snuffleupagus travel by hanging...
Those would be great. I doubt that they would be complete episodes, but maybe they coudl have the best episodes from each season (or just the season premiers) and several great sketches from those years (especially ones that haven't yet been availible on video, or haven't been uncut on video)...
Well, the book did count up to ten. the number ten wasn't repeated several times (either after ten was announced at the beginning or after the characters announced it). also, only three of the ten announcements (besides the baker falling) were included. the book didn't include Ten Triangles or...
So should The Amazing Mumford, Biff, Sully, Rosita, Baby Bear, Forgetful Jones, and the Honkers.
He had more pictures because one of his sketches was there. none of sherlock hemlocks sketches were in the book.
I remember Baby Bears first appearance. When he first appeared, he was at the street sign (I think he even climbed it) saying that he was going to Sesame Street to hide from Goldilocks, but Goldilocks just happened to be on the street, showing up everywhere that baby bear went (similar to how...
it's weird that with the title being sam And Friends that another character was the main focus. There have been a few official sources (like sams featired creature profile on Henson.com) that say that Sam never actually spoke (outside of lip-syncing), so it is odd for the main character to not...
I wasn't saying that the skit you were asking for is on that DVD. Just the skit where kermit plays a piano (which ends with him getting eaten by the piano). The DVD even has a picture from that sketch on the cover.
No. Carroll Spinney said that the puppet wore out and wasn't rebuilt, and apparantly it would cost too much to rebuild someone who wasn't used much in the first place.
I think he last appeared in the early 1990s. Some sources have said that he last appeared in 1990, but he was in the 991...
the flying monkeys names
here are the names of the flying monkeys and their performers:
Angel Marie-performed by John Kennedy
Sweetums-performed by John henson
Old Tom-unknown
Real Old Tom-unknown
Crazy Harry-performed by Rickey Boyd
Spotted Dick-unknown
Black Dog-unknown...
This sounds like a good idea, although I doubt that it would be made (are there any DVD sets with 40 hour-long episodes?).
anyway, here is what I would inlcude: (Note: I haven't seen most of these episodes)
disc 1/ side 1:
the first four season premiers
special features:
all-new...
Was jane Henson ever credited on the show? I know that she was credited on many sesame street videos (including the best of ernie and bert, the best of kermit on sesame street, and a celebration of me, grover!) but I don't ever recall seeing her name listed. Jim Henson was still listed as a...
yeah, I figured that Carroll Spinney did both of the brothers, but I didn't know for sure, and I wondered if he voiced the mother as well (In the early years it was more common for performers to perform the voices of multiple characters, even if none of the characters were used anywhere else).
what's the point of palisades making Sesame Street Unpaved action figures? so far in their sesame street line, none of the characters announced were introuced after 1978.
I have read that a clip from his sketch appeared in the documentary Hensons Place, but as far as a DVD I don't think it was released. 20 out of 25 muppet appearances were released on a DVD called Muppets Magic From The Ed Sullivan Show, and a sketch with kermit playing the piano was on another...
one two-video-in-one-DVD idea I forgot
Here is a pair that I forgot to mention:
Sing yourself Silly & Sillier
Sing Yourself Silly
Sing Yourself Sillier at the Movies
it's from the late 1990s.
besides these, I would also recommend Getting Ready For School, Play-Along games and Songs, Sing-Along (althouhg three of the four skits on that video are also availible on other videos), the best of ernie and bert, learning to add and subtract, sing yourself...
Actually, I meant "the alphabet Jungle game". The one you were describing is The Alphabet Game. sorry for the confusion.
Which alphabet songs are included? does it have the one where kermit and a girl recite the alphabet (where the girl keeps saying "Cookie Monster")? or the one where herry...
