I saw it too. It was good, but not the best muppet "appearance" on The Simpsons.
I wonder if the producers of the simpsons have ever considered getting the actual performers to perform the voices of any Muppets that have made appearances on the show? I wonder if any of the performers would...
At the end, when the performers are seen, it looks like rage is performed by John Lovelady.
I still wonder if there was a deleted scene with rage, perhaps cut for time or content?
performers
Here is who I would have perform some of the characters...
First of all, I would have Mel Blanc provide voices for some of the characters: the irs agent (sounding like Sylvester), Baskerville (sounding like Bugs Bunny), and the mexican in the conversation panel (sounding like...
I thought I would make an outline featuring an odd choice for a guest star, legendary voice actor Mel Blanc, set during the first season.
Introduction
kermit announces that tonights guest star is "the man of a thousand voices", Mel Blanc. Kermit also announces that it is time for somebody...
Are you trying to get over your fear of this scene? I feel the same way about the ending. Whenever this is shown on TV I turn the volume down (or press the mute button) before the jester appears. If I rent a video that has this skit (it's on the videos Learning About Numbers and The Great...
more
I have also thought of some more questions not in the FAQ section.
"Why were certain episodes of The Muppet Show cut on the first season DVD set?"
the answer would be because of music rights for most of the edits, but for the news skits in the Joel grey episode, it's because those...
I just got an idea for a question for the frequently asked question section while posting in another thread.
Why not have a question about the episode numbers of each henson series?
The question and answer could be like this:
"How many episodes of [Inset name of henson series here]...
I thought there were 108 episodes.
I also don't think that this is a frequently asked question, but maybe the FAQ section at Muppet Central should have a list of the total number of episodes for each henson series.
let's all appreciate that great sound man, Simon Soundman.
I remember seeing him in the background in A Muppet family Christmas, as a customer in one Grover The Waiter skit (and I had always thought he looked like Fat Blue), and I remember him in a sketch where he met Old Mac Donald.
I...
At the end of The Muppet Show: Sex And Violence, there is a deadley sin who didn't appear in the conference room earlier. He is red, with spikey hair and he looks angry. i guess he should probably be called "Anger", although i am not sure if he was supposed to have a proper name.
He did not...
interesting
I would like to make some observations about the program for the one posted.
It is odd that Louise Gold performed in this. Were the voices recorded in england, or was Jim henson able to get her to america and record the voices (or could Jim Henson have sent her a special...
I would like to list all Sesame Street videos that feature kermit the frog. Please add anything that I missed.
Learning About letters: kermit appears in a sketch where he draws a letter M with his finger.
learning about numbers: kermit appears in a sketch where he goes on an elevador...
I was only referring to jugbands from The Muppet Show. It does seem weird that Emmit Otters Jugband is more famous to casual fans even though they were only used in one production.
stuie
Was stuie Monster a regular character or was he only used in that Sesame Street Live show?
I wonder how the two-headed monster would have been performed on Sesame Street Live.
What are your favorite numbers featuring either of the jugbands?
From the Gogolala Jubilee Jugband, my favorite number is "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavour On The bedpost overnight?". From Lobbock Lou And His Jughuggers, my favorite number is "Somebody Stole My Gal".
