I agree that Scooter's disappearance was a sad, sad occurrence, but I don't think that had anything to do with the circumstances of Hunt's death. It was just because the didn't recast him, either out of respect for Richard, or because it just wouldn't work. Similar to Rowlf who slipped silently...
Oops, sorry. Yeah, I did mean 30 Years. As if there was a 40 Years Celebration...tsk tsk me.
It's an official release in a pink case with the a circle-cut out Kermit on the front, and a Jim henson logo that I don't recognise. The movie does have a rating cirtificate (U, Universal: Sutable for...
Ooooh! I should be able to go see this on Tuesday (possibly before if I can persuade a parent to devote a few hours to driving me).
I'm getting that vibe, Blue Weirdo, from a lot of the reviews tha this movie is trying too hard to do too much. I'm hoping it won't come off like the ever-so...
I miss so much by not paying attention...Vic and Prawnie on Yahoo, eh? Wait...that's beside the point.
Thanks for the discription of the best bits, Count. Kermit sounds like he was on form, funny and thoughtfull.
Oh, here's something interesting that crops up from time to time, "Jim Henson starts an acting class for those people he believes show future potential. (Of which Gabriel is one). He hires a drama teacher, Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation) to teach his private...
Ooh, thanks Cherry P and Vic R!
I havn't made any new Spoofies for aaages though. I do have a couple of ideas though, so there should be some more interesting things soon...who knows. :p
Are you going to see it first day its released anyone? I won't be able to (so I'll have to absent from this thread for a while so as not to know everything that happens!!!) but I'll be back as soon as I've seen it!
Hey, don't sweat it. Disney has nothing to do with this movie, it's the Jim Henson Company. Disney itself only owns the Muppets.
However, you should know that Muppet's From Space wasn't realised by Disney. Nice as it would be to lay the blame of that *shiver* movie on Disney, it lies all over...
Father: Don't try and teach your grandfather to suck eggs, young-man-who-is-really-a-young-boy-but-that's-beside-the-point. *sees a Motorised shopping trolley* Hold that thought! *zips after Kyle, dodging pedetstrians* Excuse me, pardon me, STOP THAT BOY!
Ahhh...if they are funny and they are in his taste maybe he's been eating clowns...aaaaah! Wocka wocka! (Plus, he has clown shoes stuck between his teeth...bit of a give away.)
Father: *opens the car door, throwing acycalist from his bike, but doesn't notice...just sees the bike on the ground* What an unbelievable coincidence...*leaps upon the bike and sets after Kyle* TAG! See! I will not be beaten! *rides into a market stand selling eggs and crashes* Oh but these...
Not that we got the fuzzy-ness in the UK Region edditions...so at least this time we won't be jealous. :p!
I do hope we have the same cover-art style here though, unlike the first season which changed the look completly for the UK. See? Odd little Kermit picture on a red-curtain background...
Father: *is slugged in the shoulder* If you think that means I'll play Tag with you...You may be right. *steps up* TAG! *leaves the room rapidly and gets into car, driving away quickly* You lose! *car dies, out of petrol* Drats!
