Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
The Halloween menu was up for five days. Be on the lookout for the Thanksgiving menu in a couple weeks. Almost all of the major holidays and Muppeteer birthdays are covered. Jamie plans to do some new holidays for 2004.
The song is originally from the 1988 video "Sing-Along Dance-Along Do-Along". It was a part of six tapes in the Jim Henson Play-Along video series. You should be able to get the original tape on eBay for under $10 or so.
Glad the list of intros was helpful. It took quite a bit of time to double-check everything, but the info and results are well worth it. We now have a complete list of all 52 intros used for the 120 episodes.

This version of "Saying Goodbye" is sung by the late, great composer Jeff Moss. He wrote all of the music for the Muppets Take Manhattan and worked on Sesame Street for over twenty-five years.

I don't think Palisades has announced one yet, but given their track record, I wouldn't be surprised to expect one this year. It may only be available in a lottery to Collector's Club members though like the 2002 Holiday Kermit figure.
"The guy" is commonly known as Fat Blue and performed by the versatile Jerry Nelson. The character originally developed out of an Anything Muppet design. He was also referred to as Mr. Johnson.
