I just finished midterms, have a 4 day fall break, got 2 new muppet dvds from amazon, and am heading off to st. louis to visit my grandparents! it just doesn't GET any better than this! woo-hoo! :D
I think my bro and sis will like it... they love anything with animals....but I have no way to get to a movie theater, I would probably get killed if I tried to go on my bike!
American politics is a circus! I mean the Bush/Gore thing was bad enough... time for me to head back to Germany...wait a minute, Gerhard Schroeder isn't that great either... was Du heute kannst versprechen darfst Du morgan wieder brechen... :smirk:
Pecan pie, rhubarb pie, rasberry pie! yum! I have a funny story about that actually, in Germany I wanted to make a rhubarb pie for my host family but they don't make pies in Germany, and I couldn't get a pit tin! I made it in an oval casserole dish! But my host family loved it! :flirt:
That part of "The Muppet Movie." It's a great scene, I highly reccommend it. The Studebaker Company first produced pioneer canvas covered wagons, and later produced cars until about 1970. (not sure of date.) Fozzie drives a car Studebaker! :o
Yay, I am glad that someone else is sticking up for the kids! Kids are kids, and a lot of them love Muppets. Like my 12 year old brother. Some don't. Which is also okay. It's a free country. But they are missing out on a lot!
yeah, that'd how Rizzo evolved. Steve Whitmire was encouraged to take an old puppet and use it as an extra. He used a rat puppet from the "Muscicians of Bremen" that could basically be bounced up and down on a stick. Jim thought it was funny and redid the puppet into today's Rizzo as a hand...
My familt is sort of bemused by the extent of my obsession but they enjoy watching the movies too. And they have watched my obsession grow as I have, so they're resigned. I don't talk too much about it outside of my family. Except of course here!
