D'oh! Of course I have no idea what you are referring to...
Bea:zany:{Of course I actually already did know when I made the original coke-related something of a sneaky drug reference on this marvelously moderated family friendly forum (Nice alliteration there!) Ooh...this signiture message is...
Hang on...
You ride a greyhound?
Or you bet on greyhounds to get the money?
Or...nevermind :p
LOVE the poster, Frogboy! And think it's great that you've got Gonzo there is your shop! How cool!
Beau
It's sad to see this is the end of the line for the replicas...(My housemates were just asking me when I planned to buy another...oh well). But I'm glad you could come and clear a lot of the stuff up for us, Travis.
Bea:zany:{So...any chance of that Sam Eagle replica they owe us...
I'll be there. Can we also have spray-cream doughnuts?
One of these days I must purchase a R2 version of this dvd...since I bought it from America with an American region just because I thought that it wouldn't hit British stores for a while.
HA! Loving the Men are Pigs poster...one of these days I should knuckle down and read the actual fanfic that goes with it, eh?
Scooter and Sal are hilarious!
Is it weird that whenever I see "Dr Pepper" for sale I first think of Mrs Pepper from here, then Sgt FLoyd Pepper...and it takes me quite a while just staring at the drink to sort out my poor befuddled mind and decide if I want to by some or not.
Coke, on the other hand, what on earth could I...
I read recently that the British series has been basically lost in the archives. They have only 12 of the master tapes, and those have all been released in one variety or other. It's a big shame...because I'd have *loved* to see Fraggle Rock when they had the younger nephew running the lighthouse!
I must say that I've always thought it would be great for the Muppets (Yes, I know these arn't the Muppets, I'm just saying what I thought) to deal with race issues/being different issues. In the Muppet world they are generally accepted as normal, but in fan-fictions they are often considered...
I get how you feel, Ngreen, I didn't discover that Jim had died until I watched MTI.
As much as I'd love to see (hear?) the ner performers doing the old songs...There's no need for Eric to record Never Before, or Bill to record Something Better Comes Along. I just don't see why it would be...
I realised today, while watching trailers on Apple.com, that I really miss Statler and Waldorf From the Balcony and their cooky comments on the new movies coming out!
Is there anything you'd particularly love to have seen them commenting on?
I'd love to have seen their opinion on The Dark...
Got this book this morning. I'm digging the new format, and the pearls of wisdom (Good thing Prawn's can hold their breath when pearl-diving, eh?) I'll probably put some more thoughts in the Jim Lewis thread. Over all, I loved it, and it was worth a read!
Well, all I can say is that I've seen more Muppets in England than I ever expected to before this year, so I can't believe that it won't appear at all...for a moment.
Letters to Stana? (Ignore me, I just cannot resist sometimes). Is that the spin-off straight-to-dvd release about the Old Age Pensioner cousin of Santa who receives Letters from the Muppets once a year to brighten his life before heading up the old Stannah stairlift to, what apepars to be, the...
Don't panic! Stay calm! Do not get your underwear in a bunch (especially a bunch of petunias) It's happened before, it will happen again. They either ran out of bandwidth, or just forgot to send out payment for the gas and electrics. I'm sure it will be back to it's healthy self in a few days...
I thought I'd just throw this topic back up to the top, since there are quite a few movies coming out at the moment.
Most notably, Bond, which I didn't want to start a new topic about, but did want to comment on. Has anyone seen it? I don't want to spoil it if you haven't...so I'll just say it...
When I first saw the titel of this thread, I thought maybe it was a new National day of rest such as Thanksgiving and Labour Day. A Day for Sweetums. Love it!
I'm so glad that Sweetums appears to be in the new Letters movie!
