Kermit must have gotten rid of the surveys. He was always bothered by polls.

I see the polls have been removed? Are polls against the rules now?

Hopefully, Little Bird will get the recognition he deserves soon! Meanwhile, since the choices here are only two, I voted for Prairie Dawn. (We can't always expect 3rd parties to be included anyway). :)

Little Bird also had a significant part on at least one Sesame Street album.

True. Like many characters, they experimented the first time.

    Favorite Fran Brill Character

Well, Little Bird was one of Fran Brill's signature characters for the time. He may not have been a "major character," but he was more significant than just a one-time Muppet character.

I really think he should be included. What's old is as significant as what's new on Sesame Street after 47 years. Besides, I always thought Little Bird had more potential than was used. The contrast between him and Big Bird was just right. The 2 established a friendship too. It probably got...

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

There is so much Sesame Street history still unseen.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

It was during the run of the original Gordon, Matt Robinson, so it was sometime between 1970-1972. (Definitely not 1969 because Oscar was green).

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

I honestly think that people who grew up with Sesame Street in 1969 have a particularly special bond to the show that is hard for others to understand. It was truly magic.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

Yes. The only way he could break the spell and get rid of the nose was to something nice. Needless to say, for Oscar, that was an impossible task. Even when he tried to do something nice, it turned out wrong and his nose got longer.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

Trust me, Oscar being cursed with a human nose was definitely a separate episode. I saw it myself, when it was new in the early 70's, and I was every bit as frightened as the guy on this web page: http://www.avclub.com/article/childhood-scares-26455 Today, of course, I would LOVE to see it...

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

Everyone talks about the Margaret Hamilton episode, but there are many others that are "buried." Personally, I'd be more interested in seeing the one where a Muppet witch cursed Oscar with a human nose: http://www.avclub.com/article/childhood-scares-26455

Well, they had a child actor named David around the same time Northern Calloway's David was around.
